Oh my, I have not been here for so long, and now I see we have our own thread. Wow, thanks guys!
By the way, we will air our Show 8 tonight at 9 pm mountain time. We even make a funny mention of the ghost hunting in a mine shaft wearing a bikini comment made by the guy from Pittsburgh.
Thanks for listening and hope you continue. Hear us at www.ghostgab.com or http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghostgab

Thanks Again from Kris & Mike of Ghost Gab!

Hey Kris & Mike. Welcome to the Ghost Gab thread.

Have you ever thought of having a ghost-sensitive cat or dog go with you on ghost hunting expeditions? Kind of like a drug sniffing dog, or a bomb-sniffing dog, only the dog sniffs out ghosts?

I think maybe a cat would be more useful, actually, because cats are ntaurally psychic.

Anyway, just a thought. Kudos on the improved audio.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we have thought about possibly getting a cat that could assist on investigations. As you suggested, a cat might be the best choice. We may soon be seeking out a cat with those special qualities. A good location to find a special cat might be the alley behind the food establishment that is said to have a fondness for cats. Although Kris and I are not in the mood for chinese today we may try that delightfully exquisite parmesan cheese chicken recipe you suggested. Not only are you on the cutting edge of the paranormal field technology, you seem to be a culinary genius. Please do share more, and maybe consider starting your own paranormal group.
For all you new fans, we loaded a new podcast today. Show 9 is up at www.ghostgab.com
Thanks, Kris & Mike

Damn, I pretty much said everything I know in that little technical discussion with Eddie Dean. Hmmm.

I wonder what sort of cats would be the most psychic. I think a Scottish fold would probably be more psychic than other cats because its ears are rounded, which means it might be able to pick up on subtle frequencies that other cats with pointy ears can't. That's just a theory, though. It could well be mistaken!

You'd need to either put a bell on the cat's collar, or have the cat on a leash --- unless its a well trained cat. Most cats are difficult to train to do anything, though. If you get it on a leash I'd recommend one of those leashes that is attached to a spool, so it can go pretty far withought being connected to the ghost hunter. Although you've got to watch out for the cases when the cat will wind itself around something.

Oh my! Remember this lovely Christmas card you sent to RMGE this Christmas? Would you be opposed to us borrowing your cat for our next investigation? The ears look perfect on this furry little fellow!!!

Your picture isn't posting on my end, so I'll repost it:

That was my cat Giancarlo Ribisi III. Unfortunately he was eaten by my friend Andy's rare python. I left them both in the living room to watch TV when I went to go get some smokes at the gas station and thought they'd get along because I had fed Leonardo (the python) a few frozen mice earlier that morning.  When I came back poor Giancarlo was already half-way into Leonardo's mouth. I'll never forget the look of terror on Giancarlo's eyes. Leonardo gulped him down. That was a tragic, tragic day.

Here is a youtube of Leonardo with a soundtrack by John tesh:

Since you asked, here is another recipe:

One time I really wanted apple pie, but I was too stoned to really leave the house and go get some. So I looked high and low to see what I could find, and I had some applesauce beneath the sink and some saltines up on the fridge. I know right? What luck!

So I what I did was I took the apple sauce, opened it and plopped it in a bowl. Then I took the crackers and crushed them up until they were a fine, crumbled dust. Then I put them in the applesauce and microwaved it for ten minutes. It was awesome! But you know what? It could've been awesomer. So what I did then was is open the fridge and find some Kraft cheese slices. I put them little bastards in the apple sauce/cracker mix, then microwaved it some more. It was incredibly good!

Then I turned on my strobe light and the Shining's "Endless Solitude."

It was so god damn awesome I can't even tell you. (updated better quality version)

By the way, I found some stuff about psychic cats:

Cats can do everything.

The "many world" theory is an established part of physics, now.

Here is an interesting video on it:

The Parallel Universe Paradox Solved

I've often wondered if the multiverse follows a fractal-like pattern. I don't know how much you know about fractals but the basic idea is that you have a simple equation which, when set into motion, releases an infinite, 2-dimensional pattern where the large-scale structures mirror the small-scale structures, and vice versa. So that which the infinitely vast and infinitesimally small both seem to possess the same, basic features. I think the first Men In Black movie had something about this --- the universe carried around in the cat's collar (cat's again!).

If an infinite amount of universes exist its at least feasible --- maybe --- that they could intersect or cross over into each other somehow. It would be hard to prove but there's little indications everywhere that this happens.

Here is a cool documentary on fractals:

Kris and I are really enjoying our podcast creations. We could probably do one per night with all the material we discuss during the evening. We have some guests lined up for some interesting future paranormal podcasts. We will probably start going LIVE very soon. That way we can take calls. I've been out of the podcast scene for a few years, so getting back in the saddle with Kris in this new venture is way more fun than my old podcast days. Her and I flow and interact very well, like the paranormal partners we are. ;)  I hope others find our topics interesting and do give us a listen every so often. Below is a list of the shows we've done so far, for anyone wanting to hear these.
