That still shouldnt take away from the fact that George IS offering his hand out and being civil about it on a forum that is named after his "suckage"...

Got to give credit where credit is due.

And the misplaced blame towards Noory having ANYTHING to do with Arts show ending is not only unfounded, but Art even admitted that HE QUIT by "mutual agreement" (paraphrase) and if Art had not quit we would have already heard several more shows and would be tuning in tonight rather than organizing marches and shit.

My problem with Noory is he more a business guy than a radio talent. He understands that ANY advertising increases his market share, therefore he'll pander. Art otoh is radio broadcasting artist who has his standards. The really great artists have long histories of being misused by the business types over their 'standards'.

Noory is the artist at the head of a juggernaut. If he wanted to support Art Bell he could do it effectively and quietly. Instead he's here publicly pandering. I expect that of an artist not a canny business man. So it's hard to thank him for something that appears to me to be using Art's (let's not argue and say self-inflicted), dilemma for his own benefit. That smacks to me of opportunistic business model.

But that is simply my opinion. I could be wrong. But typing it out helps me clear it up in my head just why Noory's behavior is upsetting to me.

Some of you have sent me personal messages regarding my help/support for Art if he choses to return.
I have already contacted Sirius/XM to express my endorsement of an Art Bell/Coast Channel on 104. I didn't get a no.
If Art wants to merely stream, I would assist him there as well in any way I can. And lastly I still stand by my offer to him (as I did when he was first on Dark Matter) to invite him on Coast to Coast to discuss his new show, etc. I got no response to that.
I would like nothing more than for him to enjoy his career because without him, Id not be where I am today.
Ive taken many hits from you regarding the show and that's ok. We can all grow and fine tune, but to blame us for knocking Art off the air is unfounded and quite simply inaccurate. We were coming back to Sirius/XM regardless of whether Art quit or stayed.
If he emails me and wants some assistance, Ill be there for him.
Any other issues, Id gladly address once MV decides to put me on the coastgab podcast.
Until then keep up the fight.

I seriously doubt Art will have anything to do with Premier or Sirius ... even as a guest. The best thing, you, George Noory can do for Art Bell is to convince Sirius to tear up the NC, completely, no NC.

Based upon Art's comments on the Gab Cast interview, Art really doesn't care about millions of listeners. He said he is set to accommodate 10s of thousand even 100s of thousands of listeners from his website. There was no "we are set to accommodate millions of listeners. He said he doesn't want to have anything to do with terrestrial radio either.

Art, don't give up the option of competing head to head with C2C. Don't give that away to get out of your NC. You don't have to and it will just complicate matters by still being involved with Sirius. Some of us listen to the radio during the 10pm-2am time slot and I would hate to not be able to hear even the replay of DM because of a non-compete.

And George, I honestly don't believe you would disagree with met. You are George Noory and AB is Art Bell. Given what has happened because of Premier and Sirius the best solution is that the two of you be respectful competitors and that will make both of you better.
