That's right, kids.  Rev up those proxies for the same content you've already paid for, and your life is forfeit.  You'll be turning tricks at the local truckstop before you know it, and those Breaking Bad episodes won't keep you warm when you're living in a box.

"Content theft"--    not even once.

Maybe the guy who drives by in the Geek Squad car with the "JUSTSYN" vanity plate with throw you a warm blanket.

I never realized it until tonight listening to Art's test stream, but Michio Kaku has a sort of lisp.  It's weird that I never noticed it before.

Let's look on the bright side, at least we are all in this together:) That has got to account for something, right? :)
That's what the dudes at Pompeii said. Too soon?

I wonder how definitive this day is. As in, if art doesn't show, what then? It'll mean almost 100% that Sirius said no go, right?

Hopefully art will come post here and explain hisself. If not for his own sake, for Casio's.

Hehe, another one of Casio's sobbing videos might actually cheer me up. I do believe that today is crucial because I don't think Art is willing to sweeten the deal for SiriusXM any further or returning with the stream issues of their app/web player still ongoing without his website as an alternate source. Management probably see him as more trouble than he's worth and after a very public break up that Art Bell initiated, may have decided to cut their losses and pass. It certainly looks that way, as of now.

Is this the same guy who went to school on Mars with Obama?

That's him. He didn't go to school on Mars but went there. So he says. Obama was Called Barry Soetoro (sp) back then. It's quite an entertaining story if you can believe it. Believing is the hard part.

He's got no clue. It was stealing in the 90s when he was developing SSH2block. Don't worry about it.

Yea, I think it's ridiculous to denounce people as thieves, Coz.

I think it's ridiculous not too.

I'm reminded of the movie, IT.

It seemed like it was all over --- the nightmare of our youth. But then it came back when we were all older, wiser, established with our families and careers. And then it shocked us right back to where we were the first few times he retired. Shit.

Only in this case its Art Bell and not a wickit clown. And it wasn't a nightmare, but a kind of pleasant, fuzzy dream.

I understand what you are meaning.
And I'm going to sound very corny here, but every one of us can continue the 'dream' and share the memories with each other, for all we have for certain now is -time-.

I didn't watch IT all the way through. Clowns scare me.

if that happens, then i don't think you will hear him again.

I agree, despite what it says on his website about a new medium and format at a later date. Damn it, Art. We waited for you!

Thanks for the update Producer-Paul. It's is much appreciated by the informationally challenged here.

Is no news good news? Perhaps. If it was an outright no you'd think they would have come out and said that right off the bat.

If they are taking their time and crunching the numbers then that could be a good thing.

And while we all are waiting this is what I will be having for lunch today:

Marinated chicken breast on a bed of quinoa, spinach, cherry tomatoes and onion topped with grilled lemon!

Not the manliest of meals but this is what you gotta eat when you're on a diet.

My first post here... Hi everyone.  I am thinking that the NC clause shouldn't hold up.  Certainly not for 2 years.  First of all, the contract seems to be invalid because the darn streaming did not work.  For me, it never worked, and some nights I was unable to listen to the show at all.
He signed up for the Sirius that worked, right?  Well, it didn't, and he's got thousands of people who could testify to that.
They couldn't fix it... so he left.  Had it worked as per the contract, then, this would not be an issue.

I think he has plenty of legs to stand on, and I think he is being reasonable.  The key word being "reasonable"

That looks fucking delicious, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

No sense hanging around here anymore...I am sure Art is more worried about the Typhoon in the Phillipines. Gotta make sure his future home does not turn into a swamp. Weird huh? He has a Home in a Desert....and one in a very moist tropical climate.

I did some research on Non-compete clause and Covenant not to compete clause - which are two slighty different things. If you look on wikipedia it goes into depth which I found interesting. I thought I'd learn more about it, to uh, well pass the -time-.

One of my fondest memories is listening to his show with Zeph Daniels. Zeph was a Satanic Abuse survivor and there sharing his unusual life experiences as well as detailing the nature of alien and demonic interactions. Somewhere near towards the middle of the show --- if I recall right --- Zeph Daniels revealed he'd been hospitalized in a psychiatric facility. Art soldiered on, while asking a few very apt questions. Zeph soldiers on too.

God bless you art. It was a blessing to ever have heard you once, much less for thousands of hours. Time's majestic sea roars on, and though we may never hear from you again your words continue to echo in us. And perhaps that is enough.

They are a satellite radio company, internet streaming is something they implemented later and even if there are problems with it, I doubt it invalidates anything Art Bell signed earlier in the year. He's the one in breach of contract, not SiriusXM.
