Jesus CHRIST!!!   >:( >:(

I'm going to need some FUCKING blood pressure medicine by the end of the fucking evening over this shit, I swear to you.

I went to bed last night with that terrible message from Art on my head and Noory on the podcast with all my pals and it SUCKED. I sent Art a heartfelt message via email and now I'm fuckin embarrassed. Oh well.

I need a fucking mylanta. Or some crystals to tape on my face. Black salt SOMETHING, FUCK!

Yea man... I'm downing Zantac 300mg at a time, slamming valerian root every 4 hours, and am weepy half the time.

Sure is listening to the radio the hard way.

This starts to get to the heart of the issue.

Would make sense if you're trying to operate a call-in show that broadcasts when the majority of potential east coast listeners are in bed.  It's hard to make calls when you're asleep... at least in my experience.

Art;
I have followed you for decades.

Please read this:
(1) Please consider an audiology consult (no insult intended or implied).
(2) Take Sirius up on their 1 more month free for your program offer. Now you have Sirius publicly admitting stream issues.
(3) You are a gifted interviewer. Please don't let that faeces slinging slug ooze away with your crown. Follow that silver slug trail and figuratively stomp his ass, for all of us who luv you.

Thank you for all your broadcasts.

This thread is a riot. Been laughing all morning.

All we need at this point is an appearance by Numbers Lady and were really through the looking glass.

I've been following the threads of this place loosely for a few years now. Gotta say this particular thread is something  else.  Kinda not sure if  it was wise to finally sign up...

A time-shift for the program could significantly increase real-time listenership through all mediums.  No need to shut down the program over this.  SiriusXM seems versatile enough to switch Art's time around to accommodate him personally, and to open up larger markets.  However, the limited patience of SiriusXM is on the table at the moment.

Enough with the melodrama already. If you want to be a spineless, groveling sycophant, then have at it. The rest of us who are pissed will continue to have a conversation.

oooooooh soooo sorry.  I can be a spineless, groveling sycophant if I want to be.  So there.   :P :-X

(ps what's a sycophant?) ;)

This is all so surreal. Six weeks ago, we practically shat our pants with delight in the live threads. Art quits, this place explodes, Art goes dark, then comes on, George calls into MV's podcast, Art parts with a serious(?)/sarcastic(?)/fishing for sympathy(?) post. What kind of fucking JJ Abrams timeline have we been rebooted into?
I don't know, but let's compare notes: what color are the chemicals in the sky on your world?

It is amazing to me how, in six weeks, we got not one, not two, but three gangs of ghostbusters on the show, but not one Got-damn show about the motherfucking chemtrails.

What does a cracker have to do around here to get a grand jury convened? Land's sakes!

I don't know, but I just read a post from you 13 pages back that said you were leaving!

Welcome back. Did you bring Art with you? That should be a like a rule here. "Don't come back without bringing back a spare host."

The SiriusXM customer service Twitter account @SXM_Help is now sending this response to people who tweet to them about Art:

It was Art Bell’s decision to end his Dark Matter program on SiriusXM. We wish him the best in the future.

It doesn't sound like a company that cares to have him back on their airwaves, but who knows I guess.

You have to think out of the box.  Chemtrails are really high-flying ghosts.  Therefore ghostbuster shows are about chemtrails too.

I'm not sure what time that was.  I vaguely even remember it.  (I do know what vaguely means.) :)

At this point wouldn't that be *everyone*?

Who knows. Still, after all the drama, you can't expect Sirius to be in a negotiating mood.

I think I found the problem of the stream dropping the signal from Art's studio in the desert.
Some radio equipment and wires got shot up!

Do you have a primary source that reports this?

That and the limited pool of potential listeners.  A broadcaster like Art would reach a larger audience if he could stream his show, live.  There are not (likely) thousands of fans who would buy Sirius/XM radios and pay the monthly fees (due to lack of commitment and/or lack of funds) just to hear Art.  To reach the largest possible audience, one would need to be broadcast on an AM or FM radio network, AND stream live on the internet.

Sirius/XM is not going to give it's product away for free.  Here in Canada (I am a Sirius subscriber since 2010, Sirius and XM are 2 separate companies here) Sirius even charges an additional fee to access broadcasts via the internet.  So just being a regular subscriber is no long good enough to access free streaming- we have to pay extra!  >:(

It was just on Fox News

Yes, but key decision makers dictate a company's actions.  If he is liked by someone high up enough they'll bring him back.

Well, at the moment there are plenty of hoax stories about his demise on the Internet, and nothing in the mainstream media.
