I truly feel sorry for anyone who missed that show. 4 gabblings together in one spot and nobody axe murdered or pissed on the rug, that I know of. I'm feeling the call for the last two shows in LA... Who's with me?

i think casio was a moderator there at one point.  so yeah.

I was among the first five people to join that forum when it first started.  I don't remember casio being a mod.  However, I was one of the four mods at the outset.

My board, and the one I was the "official Mod for was "Expressions," kind of an Arts And Humanity theme. I was also a self-appointed Goodwill Ambassador from there to all of the other Art Bell Forums. 

At the time, casio had recently joined that forum having just being banned from BellGab, along with one or two ex-BellGabbers.  When they started dissing BellGab, I'd get on them, telling them to put on their big boy pants, get over it, and move on.  I don't want this to be a forum know for dissing other forums (pausing for a gaffawing, choking, gagging spell).  Excuse me.

As it turned out, casio was the only one not to adhere to my "suggestion."  He was eventually banned for his, now, infamous disturbing posts and YouTube videos.

Anyway, time marched on.  Then at some point, earlier this year, weird things began to happen to me.  I no longer was able to access the mod only areas.  My mod status had been dropped and taken over by another member.  Very curious.
This was during a time when the owners father was quite ill and not expected to last, so I kept to myself.

There was a kind of . . . vibe . . . I felt that was being directed at me, but I still didn't have a clue about a reason for it. 

Now this part contradicts the reason I posted for being banned in "The Others" Thread because I had forgotten about it until doing a "walk-back" for this post.

It is June.  The owners father had just passed away.  This, while he's trying to get the final preparations of his forum ready for the big day.

An ex-BellGabber (and ex-GLPer) took exception to an explanation I had given  about why Art post here all of the time and only occasionally, there.  It was pretty much, Art is free to post where he wishes and doesn't need to give an explantion why.  This member's reply was a "go for the throat" reply.  My response was to defuse as I know the owner really didn't need this kind of crap going on his forum considering everything he was already going through.  None the less, she came back at me again.  Finally, the owner posted an admonishment toward me.  I'm dumbfounded.

After that I noticed it took a very long time to log in, a trick used there to discourage unwanted members so they quite the forum on their own.  They greatly underestimated the power of my patience.  No one (aside from two wonderful people, and friends - regardless) would reply to my post, which were mostly nature photos of my area.

It took only a couple of hours after my post in "The Others" Thread to be officially banned from there.  To this day, I still don't know how it started in the first place but I did find out the excuse manufactured to "justify" my being banned.  Ok, are ya ready?  "Indecent Exposure!"  LMAO!!!  I have never made an indecent exposure post on that forum.  Or anywhere else as far as I can remember.  So.  There ya have it.  I have a gut feeling it was the ex-GLP, BellGab member that may be behind it all, but I have no proof so please don't ask me for names or anything to id that person with.  I have put this mystery in the hands of Karma and have moved on to a much better place, and we all know where that is.

Hey!  Wasn't there a show in the 90s called "Indecent Exposure?  Oh wait, that was "Northern Exposure."  Never mind.  Loved that show!

I was one of the three mods in the first couple of years.

i can't imagine what their problem was with you.  you're pretty much one of the most inoffensive people i've come across in this whole art bell/bellgab/etc universe.

I've lurked over there & I can confirm that you did indeed admonish several posters who were intent on starting a forum flame war with BG. Casio and SR-71 were the main two who tried to rally the troups if I remember correctly. You squashed them & said some very kind and level headed things about BG. I always wanted to thank you for that. Glad I have the chance now!
