Anyway I like your topics already, but since I'm on the spot ....  I particularly liked the discussion on lucid dreaming and psychic experiences, that was cool.  Maybe you can dive more into that with OBE's, NDE's, and various other altered states.  Btw any of you guys ever see the movie "Waking Life"?  That could make for some fertile discussion.

OBE's and NDE have always fascinated me. I think they are a great topic to discuss on the show, thanks mang! 
There was a time when I was actively trying, or training if you will, to induce a OBE, also called astral projection. I was reading a book at the time, about how to do it. It's called "Astral Projection" by Brad Steiger
I never achieved a full OBE but  I had some strange feelings of floating and electric buzzing a few times. I'm not 100% sure if that was part of a dream or the start of a OBE, hard to tell.
When we discuss it on the show, I will make sure to share more details of what happened.

Eddie no worries man!  Anyway I find dreams (OBE's?) really fascinating.  Where does all that stuff come from?  I mean I understand if you get dreams about people you know or places you went at some point, but lately I get very vivid dreams (perhaps triggered by a new prescription) that seem totally created from god-knows-where in my mind.  I find it very fascinating that a brain can conjure up these totally unknown places in surreal detail.

For instance I had a dream where I was wandering in some parking garage, and found a door, went in, and realized there were all these storage levels full of boxes (kinda like that last scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark).  Proceeding farther down (via these weird stairwells) I found a strange place with blue lighting like some kind of hidden military base with all these old boxes with enigmatic symbols on them and odd gizmos within.  I mean where does that stuff come from?  Is that where writers like the guy who did Game of Thrones get his stuff?  I don't know.

yes, I know exactly what you mean. In fact, I would say more than vivid these dreams are ultra vivid. Colors more intense than waking reality, Atlas fear supercharged, preternatural. Colors more vivid. Much more detail. For example, if I'm outside I might be able to see across the field across the river and make out individual pebbles on the banks of the other side. When I first started having these kinds of vivid dreams perhaps 10 years ago they were sporadic. But now they're a regular thing and flow more freely than ever. I think it's just something that people have to let them self learn to do.

But I also hasten to add that I too was practicing astroprojection and learning it, I remember some books by Robert Monroe, and it seems like these super vivid dreams started around that time. I'm sure it's just an innate ability and people have to encourage it because it's really great, as you know there's no end to the creativity of the subconscious, or whatever we want to call that dream machine.
And by the way, most standard dream symbolism would tell you that that dream you had is actually a symbolic representation of your own psyche, all those rooms places in your psyche and the mysterious blue lit room probably symbolic of your greater self or core self. higher self.

I once had a dream I stole some ruby and I was nervous the police were going to arrest me (this lasted for a few days). They sort of stick in your subconscious.

I remember a dream once where I actually have a handful of gold nuggets, real gold nuggets, very exciting. But as I begin to awaken from the dream the Nuggets began to melt as I realized I couldn't take them with me back to meet space. And by time I woke completely the Nuggets have evaporated completely.

Through dream recall, two, you learned of the vast abilities and power of our own subconscious. hundreds and hundreds of times more powerful than our own waking consciousness which is absolutely dull and clumsy by comparison.

Tarbaby cool posts, I totally agree and can relate!  There are some very vivid details I remember fom some of these surreal dreams that I could describe better than my conscious memory of what I did today in real life. 

There's one I had the other night where I can recall what the breeze felt like and the way the sun threw shadows on these ancient stone walls and the soft churning sound of distant waves on a beach I could not see but knew was there.

People often report disturbing dreams whilst on patches. I referred to them as adventures because they seemed so real and felt like they lasted an eternity. I actually looked forward to them.

There's one I had the other night where I can recall what the breeze felt like and the way the sun threw shadows on these ancient stone walls and the soft churning sound of distant waves on a beach I could not see but knew was there.

The weirdest and coolest part is that these are fantastical places I've never been or even imagined before and often I awake feeling like I've just returned from some other realm.

I had a similar dream in that a supernatural being, I guess you'd call it, took me up to the Arctic circle through a glacier into an opening, where we climbed out, stood and looked at the blue cold snow all around and the night sky filled with millions of stars. I got the impression I was being shown something important, but of course, dreams being what they are, I forgot what it was. The dream itself never left me, though.

I also had a dream in which I visited a friend overseas and was corroborated by her several weeks later in a letter. Now that was interesting. Don't know what that was, astral projection or whatever but it was definitely out of the norm.
