OK so I fired up the mighty Wurlitzer to send an awesome link of Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks. This one is from 1972 but he's still performing and sounding/looking great.  I couldn't bear to not share. 

We find all are in fine form with signature hot dance moves and a cleaveage shot of Marianne Price you boys will love (not to mention her virtuoso solo performance on second song).  I don't know where a guy learns to play fiddle like that. So worth the time.

it looks like I blew it with my other Dan Hicks link. 
Dan Hicks has been known here in the Bay Area and beyond for 40 years or so. 
Please enjoy his dry humor and generally high production value in this drinking song (this time with a link that should work).

Aside from Irish drinking songs one has to add "Fifteen Beers" and "Drinking and Driving" by the late great Johnny Paycheck. Who can't laugh at the line "5 dollars worth of regular, 3 dollars worth of wine. I'm gonna drink and drive that women outta my mind".

I see Bateman has heard of the sub-genre of music called Celtic Punk.  There's another one called Nerdcore Rap, but I digress....
