And, as evidence of the marvels of modern surgery and the fact that even people with obvious harelips can be beautiful, may I present my favorite example:  Joaquin Phoenix -- Yeah yeah - other than the harelip problem - this guys got amazing genes too,  I think he's a stunner!

The eyes have it! (Sorry, I know that's lame.) He's got some nice peepers, though, no doubt. Got a kindof Ray Liotta thing going on. mmmmmm...
