I'm wondering the same thing lol.  In all honestly, scheduling a meeting with Art about a show that he says he has no stake and/or control over is kind of a waste of both of their time.  It's Keith he should be meeting with if that's his angle.  Either way it's kind of silly.  Why the hell does he care who hosts MITD?

If anything, he should start a campaign to give C2C back to Art.  That's about the only legacy that's worth saving.  MITD didn't even last a year.

What a fiasco the show was last night. Heather must have done no vetting at all of this alleged Titor clone. Well, I guess I shouldn't expect much since she doesn't even research how to pronounce simple names for the news segment.

First she tried to play along with "Tie-tor", and was getting annoyed at the callers who were calling b.s. on him. Then she does a sudden 180 and decides to start asking him for proof. Which led to some awkward moments between her and "Tie-tor". Then she finally dumps "Tie-tor" after it's obvious he's a complete fraud. But most people already figured that out a few minutes into the interview, as evidenced by the calls. Guess Heather is slow on the uptake.

Then after meh Heather dumps "Tie-tor", she gets petulant and annoyed, and starts to take it out on open lines callers. She was rude to a guy who was breathing into his phone, telling him she was going to hang up on him. Then some redneck calls in asking about hominids, and she dismisses his question and dumps him. Really, she should be grateful she has any callers at all with her shitty performance night after night. It didn't sound like she thought it was an "honor and a privilege" to be doing the show, but a chore. Heather needs to be shit-canned asap.

The callers weren't attacking anyone. They were challenging you and your guest with serious, legitimate questions but you take it personally and call them attacks. Many here have given you the benefit of the doubt and time for you to to develop; and supported you against a cacophony of trolls but you're going in the wrong direction now. There is a way to politely challenge your guests without attacking them. You started doing that halfway through last night. That was the right thing to do and started earning you back some respect. He's lucky to have a 3am slot and his show is still most often a train wreck.

Ok, saw the Heather post also and now, first thing I thought, after hearing the last 2 hours of the show and thinking "how long are you going to let such an obvious sham, someone who is that lousy at BSing steal a show" (yes, we all know most of Art, Noory, and Heather's guests are frauds, but they are at least usually a little more deft at deflecting challenges and as such, are entertaining).

Heather, you do a 180 and then another 180 and after Art (seemingly) scolds you after the show, you suddenly reverse your attitude again.  This is so obvious.  Art made millions giving air time to frauds, but he got good frauds, you got a crappy one, either you work for the audience or you work for Bell, don't deny it, Bells scolded you for dropping the guest and is telling you to regain control of the show or quit.  Shame on you, either you are a shill/liar, or you will maintain a small measure of integrity and tell Bell to lay off.

The meeting is being scheduled.  My inbox is full , i never realized how respected and admired i am within this community.  I will do my best to bring this "disaster of Heather" to an end.  I am going for an exit date of April 26th (due to internal commitments within the organization etc).

Again,it helps to continue to get support,  i have printed out 500+ pages in support of my efforts. I am hoping with this and my long long relationship, i will finally be able to convince him that this is the best way forward....no heather and to start a new.

Unless you are planning to permanently babysit both Heather and Art, your efforts at advice appear to be in vain. The things you are advising are things they should know for themselves. They will both continue to make these mistakes because their judgement, individually and collectively, is not up to the task of producing a good show.  None of us can fix this.

You're undoubtedly correct, but I'm a big supporter of underdogs and almost lost causes, after all, my own existance is proof that one can have the world against one yet still prevail, I've lived through enough hell and I arose through it all.  There's no harm in attempting to make a difference, it only takes a little extra thought and some keystrokes, and it's at least not a bunch of mean spirited sniping, something I am guilty of at times my own self.

Heather is young still, and impressionable.

I think Art and Heather DO listen here and DO take what people say to heart, and like many, will fight and argue they remain firm on their positions yet all the while, deep inside their minds, they are rethinking things.  Hey, I used to be a very far to the right political activist who knew some major players in the Republican Party.  Everyone can be reached, it's like planting good seeds, it takes friable soil, regular water (not flooding, not drying), and some plant food, and some time.

I even think there is hope for Art, I don't think that, deep inside, he is really a bad man, I think he just clings to beliefs because they give him a sense of security and exoneration.  Everybody has a few "come to Jesus" moments at times in their lives, who is to say that we shouldn't try?  She's not stupid, she's just impressionable and desperate for a chance, just like we all are, integrity is not something we are born with, it is learned, remember, babies cry to manipulate, and children lie until they learn it is wrong to do.  Heather - and Art - can learn.

Yes, it is true that due to Arts bad back he no longer visits Bobo or I very often; and I know that both Bobo and I have got very busy lately and not had the time to meet up in Pahrump.  However, for something as important as this mission is to him, I suspect that he will make the effort to deliver these letters universally condemning Heather in person.

In the 23 or so years that I've been listening to Art's shows, there are very few guests that I didn't think were either liars or schizophrenics. That's part of the fun. I'd be an idiot if I actually believed in any of this shit. When Art  did those open lines for demons, vampires or time travelers back in the day, I never believed he had anybody legitimate on the line.

So I find it hard to get worked up over whether the Titor of MiTD is the real thing or an impersonator. Titor himself was never the real thing. The thought that he might be a Titor impersonator is almost the better narrative.
