No need... Most of the stations I checked no longer airs the show.
Even the satellite feed if it even exist anymore was switched to the archived show with Art Bell instead of the live one.

I have enjoyed the years of entertainment but after this I feel like getting rid of the archived shows. I don't think I could get myself to listen to them again after this.

Then came the speculation about a return.  And now this.

Yep, almost all of the stations have dropped the show. There are a few stragglers though.

I'm not surprised. however, I do wonder if that was a major inconvenience to them. I really don't know anything about picking up and dropping off shows, but it would seem to be a pain in the butt to change the lineup.

I agree.  It's time to move on.  There is more out there in the world of 'late night paranormal talk radio' than just MITD and, as the show is right now, there are better ones.

After Art quit, I knew there was going to be massive blowback. At that moment, I decided I wasn't going to moderate the forum. There were a lot of seemingly obvious reasons for that. Sorry you disagree. Ooh well.

And in fact, the alleged libelous comment wasn't really libelous at all. It was a poster asking basically, would "this" be libelous? They weren't making a libelous statement.

Yeah but if that were the case there are still blogs out there from years ago with lots of speculation on that- Threads on GLP and elsewhere, comments sections filled with speculation and in some cases accusation.

Why then, does this time and this place become the target? I have my suspicions but it matters little in the scope of things.

It may or may not have been in bad taste but the fact is a simple google search of certain key words will bring up some serious talk into matters that may actually cross the line.

Plus, after the way in which the stalker/terrorist issue was handled- this seems to be of little to no consequence. Words on a forum vs cut wires, gunshots and threats. And this is what he decides to pursue.

Anyhow, tasteless or not these accusations are all over the place already. I would be pissed as well but I guess the difference would be that I wouldnt make threats nor would I even be reading a forum about myself if I were a celeb...

The dick move was someone asking about/mentioning an inhaler, I guess to die more quickly. How would Art Bell not be negatively impacted by that comment? Would he, should he threaten? well Art did, good or bad. And that was (imo) the intent of the poster making the inhaler comment. That was the dick move.

I have no idea how much time you spend reading the forum. These days, it is a whirlwind. This forum has always been a slight variation on the wild west, without the gunshot wound that would keep many quiet. I like that about this forum.
