I really don't know... This site has been up and down and posters come, go, get banned and return again.  It  really is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

While I enjoy most of the posters here, I would honestly suggest a short time away.  It does wonders for a persons perspective.  If you stay, you have to be selective on your troll feeding habits or they will get fat, domesticated and, tragically, will cease to function in the wild of the internets.

Let me give you insight from a trolls perspective. The reason you guys have been trolled so hard is because of the rabid fan base (rabid fans make prime trolling ) and the fact that Art provided the ammunition by quitting again with another story that doesnt add up. YOU may say it adds up, but most discriminating persons not effected by fanhood looking over the last decade of bells carreer can see there that shit just does not add up...Again.

I havnt trolled here in over 2 years (last Art bell quit) and then got bored and left and so did the other trolls , i'm guessing. Shit gets played out after awhile - The reason I came back (and the influx of trolls) is that Art gave us the reason by repeating his patterns . Were there a bunch of trolls before Art quit? Serious question because I was busy trolling other sites at the time until I found out about this.

you guys blame the trolls and I readily admit I can be an asshole and dont expect to make any friends here- But I was gone until Art gave me a reason to come back. And (so you know) I swear to god that if Art had just quit I would have never come here- it was the "story" that allowed this to happen.

take a scenario. Art says "Guys, I'm not feeling it anymore. i'm going to retire. Thanks for the support. blah..blah..." there isnt much material to work with. I promise I would never have came here and the few trolls you may have gottten wouldnt have had a leg to stand on and would have been run off.

BUT- The "story" creates a divide within an already rabid fanbase that plays to the strength of the trolls.Then you have people on one side (hes lying) and people on the other (hes not) and trolls instigating the whole thing. Without the story Art provided (which has too many holes in it) this would have died out very quickly.

Then Art does the dumbest thingh he could do- feeds the trolls. threatens to get my identity and ramps shit waaaaaaaay up. I would have gotten bored in a couple more days anyhow until that point. fact is, this wholw thing could have been escalating further still except for the fact some guy with a huge heart tried giving me shit to leave Art alone and that made me feel really sad and then Art exited- meaning that at this level (assuming things dont get ramped up again) this will all be played out soon-ish.

The trolling opportunities here are/were fabulous because of the way it all played out. this was brought on from Art and Art alone and exasperated by the fans who refused to question anything.

trolls are a reality. Everyone has them. but when they are fed ridiculous amounts of ammo with a rabid fanbase of white knights - its a given that you have the makings of a flame war and you will attract more trolls.

My guess is that the genuine "11:11" folks are questioning more than just the government and religion...  I'm sure Art's scenario is suspicious to most who are independent thinkers, free-thinkers, intellectuals, etc. who are in his audience.
