I got hooked on Sudoku a while back. Love it. I can occasionally do an intermediate one without making notes in under 12 minutes. I have no idea how good that is, but I'm impressed.

I can complete an advanced one once in a while, but not without notes. I read that it helps form new neural circuits and keeps the synapses firing properly. Can't beat that.
I don't time myself and I've found that different books seem to have varying degrees of difficulty classified differently.  Yeah, it's fun and you can take it up during commercials to pass the time.  It trains you to look for patterns and relationships and is a lot more fun than crosswords.  I hate it when I make a mistake, am too hasty; and find, a long time later, that everything I'd done after the error is for naught.  I'm really thankful for those white erasers that don't rip the page.

I assume she's the cave diver he had on a few times in the old days.  IIRC, she's a ham operator too. Beats another exorcist or more ghost BS.
Oh, those ENDLESS EVP's.  What do we EVER learn from that?  Mumble, mumble.  Garble, garble.  Did he say this?  No, I think it was that.  If he were sitting at the table next to yours at a restaurant, would you care that much what he said?  I think not - so why care after he has died?

That's a bizarre guest.  I wonder why Art chose her.  Hmm...will have to listen and see how he works his magic with her. :)

I just enjoy Art interviewing interesting people. Some of my favorite interviews are non-paranormal related.

Ha, I knew he had some "cave lady" on before. I think this "cave lady" was on C2C a few years ago. I'm sure Art will be much better. Scary stuff and she is braver than me. There is an artesian well nearby where several people have died. A decade or so ago when a swimmer disappeared they sent in divers and found some skulls and bones etc from previous people. It was on private property so any divers/swimmers would go at night, sneak in, etc. Apparently one gets lost in silt and the cross-flow from the aquifer pushes you out of the 'hole' and into one of the many passages and then...you get confused and drown. Even just swimming in it spooks me out.

Tuesday Night's Guest: Kevin Randle: 100 Years of UFO Coverups

http://artbell.com/kevin-randle/

QuoteWebsite: http://kevinrandle.blogspot.com

Retired Lt. Col. Kevin D. Randle has, for more than 45 years, studied the UFO phenomenon in all its various incarnations. Training by the Army as a helicopter pilot, intelligence officer and military policeman; also by the Air Force as both an intelligence officer and a public affairs officer, provides Randle with a keen insight into the operations and protocols of the military, and into the UFO phenomenon, which has puzzled people for more than a century.

During his investigations, Randle has traveled the United States to interview hundreds of witnesses who were involved in everything from the Roswell, New Mexico crash of 1947, the repeated radar sightings of UFOs over Washington, D.C. in 1952, to the latest abduction cases. Randle was among the first writers to review the declassified Project Blue Book files, first to report on animal mutilations, alien abductions, alien home invasions, and among the first to suggest humans are working with extraterrestrials.

Randle was away from his UFO studies when recalled to active duty with the Army that included a tour in Iraq from 2003 to 2004. He retired from the Army and the Iowa National Guard as a lieutenant colonel in 2009 and in 2013 he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service in Iraq and the Air Medal for Valor and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry for service in Vietnam.

Has Art walked back his "Western propaganda" line about the Russian plane bombing yet? / Will he offer a retraction?

If a person is using a well on his property, are there guidelines on how often the water should be tested, and what it should be tested for?

Last night there was a caller who said he might move to Parhump.  He mentioned nuclear testing and I got the impression that he thought the ground water up there was contaminated with radiation but had not yet worked its way into the Parhump aquifer yet.

A class I once had said ground water flowed on the Eastern seaboard from New England down to Florida.  It claimed that polluting run off was being tracked that slowly accumulated and moved down the coast.  Eventually the ground water in Florida would not be suitable for drinking.

It's such a shame that our social and economic systems depend on an ever increasing population growth.  Something has to change somewhere.

The law differs between States and there are various legal precedents etc also with regard to water rights and contamination from other people on your stuff. For safety's sake I say once a year, or so, though also I suggest using a filter for the drinking (yes, with certain contaminants there can be danger with showers etc but not as normal or as acute.) Or if there is any known or potential issues (floods, bad septic system, construction nearby, oil&gas drilling, new animal operations, etc.) There, usually, is some state agency that can test for you or private companies.

Sure.  Filters are probably smart.
I was wondering if Abby visited Art for the water he puts out for his cats.  Our cats were in the back this morning tossing around a dead mouse.  We feed them enough, but they still like to play with mice.

FERAL HUMANS ARE BACK!!!!!

Wednesday Night's Guest: Jeffrey Scott Holland: Feral Humans

http://artbell.com/wed-nov-18-jeffrey-scott-holland-feral-humans/

QuoteWebsites: http://jshnews.blogspot.com http://floridazone.blogspot.com

Jeffrey Scott Holland is an author and photographer originally from the wilderness of Kentucky, currently living in Florida. His lifelong interest in cryptids and the paranormal culminated in his popular book “Weird Kentucky” and its fictional accompaniment, “The Devil and Daniel Boone”. He co-starred in “Something Wicked” on the Biography Channel, and an independent film based on his novel “The Bartender” is scheduled for a 2017 release.

Holland’s recurring fascination with feral humans, partially inspired by his rural upbringing, has become something of a cult legend since his original appearance with Art Bell in 1997. His upcoming non-fiction paranormal book, “Invisible Topography”, postulates the possibility of communicating with ghosts via microscope, and “Undomesticated” a novel that explores the feral human and the werewolf phenomenon, are currently in the works.

I can't wait for this one.

Having heard your show, and read far too many of your posts, it would be hard to imagine you getting any slower without actually stopping altogether.
