I'm wondering if DMDN is messed up a bit because of the heavy traffic.

I don't know, probably not. I emailed Keith at 11:30 PDT, he emailed back that he wasn't aware of the problem and asked about times, duration, clients etc., I gave him a rundown after which he emailed back that he was having problems too (about 12:40 or so). He said he was going to report it to streamguys since that's where he thinks the issue is.

As for alternative links, no matter where you link to, it all originates from the same stream, so if the streamguys stream is down, everybody else is too.

Well thats just followers not live listeners. How many of you have listened to DMDN on a regular basis? It's always worked fine for me and is working fine currently. All 4 options are working.

1692 pages later and art is back on the air in about 45 mins to test for his new show.  Lots of posts lots of complaints lots of hate lots of love later and were finaly here again this has been a ride alright!!

It all seems to be intermittent. It takes a few tries but once it starts, it stays.

U7 has been really persnickety lately too....It occurred to me that it might be higher traffic than usual due to the impending premier of MITD. But, I don't know if there is any validity to that.

If there is the same problem tomorrow. Just keep in mind for a last resort... Go to artbell.com and find all the radio stations that will play the actual show, pick a radio station anywhere in the country then listen to that radio station on I heart radio. Just till everything runs smooth. Can't miss the show!!! But that won't work for tonight's test show.
