3. You must have your own blanket licensing for commercial music in your country. We cannot allow relay streaming of our show, as that will incur additional music licensing cost. You won’t be covered by our license. If you’re streaming to the Internet you must turn it off during our broadcast.

That statement could also be read like this: IF you don't have your own blanket licensing for commercial music in your country THEN you must shut the stream down.

I could definitely be wrong.

lasertron

I read it as "IF you don't have a license for music streaming, we aren't responsible IF you ass gets sued."

It's a little bit ambiguous. Yes you must have a license and if you don't you can't stream but if you do have a blanket license can you still stream?

Coast trying to counter Art's announcement by announcing a new science advisor... I'm sure that'll work.
Uh huh.  Right.  A mental ward selecting it's next head doctor from amongst the patients would be more credible.

Picking up the Toronto affiliate is HUGE!  ;D

Anybody know where we can hear RCH's coverage of the Pluto fly-by in the morning? Thought it was going to be on the DMDN but looked and didn't see any listing or notice for it???

I heard that it was on DMRN at 0500hrs EDT to 1000hrs EDT, so a 5 hour show.

OK - thanks - that's what I thought .. just seems like for an event of this magnitude there would be a special ad or notice or something. It's mentioned on RCH's story on artbell.com - buried toward the bottom of the story - but no link to DMDN in the mention ... seems like a logical place for a link to the stream.

Can you guys link me to the Pluto flyby show?

I'm pretty certain that you will find it here starting at 5:00 Eastern time...

Or you could wait for Dave to mention it.

Hoagland waited 8 years only to be told to go pout.  The Scorpion Army is not amused.

When I first discovered reddit not too long ago I came across a porn actress ama. (don't judge) I think she was looking for donations or something. She stayed really polite to even the more depraved questions. I think if a young porn actress can handle it Art Bell will have no problem.

That was me.  Thank you for your kind words.  I have reconsidered your question, yes, yes I will.  Tell me when it would be a good time/place to work this out.

I am also shocked he admitted that.  Bet he didn't include that I kicked his butt, took his 'ludes, and gave them to MV.  I did leave Mr. Cosby with the number to a good therapist though; he didn't respond too well to being beaten up by a girl.  It wasn't the come on that ticked me off, he said he had never heard of Art Bell... the nerve.   ;)

Wait.....so....MV had the ludes, used them on Cosby, and had his way with him while you were gambling Cosbys millions in the casino? 😉

Hmmm.  I like that.  Not sure that it is in the style of one, ART FUCKING BELL, but I like it.  It is succinct and rather sweet without being sappy.

What I did with Cosby's millions still can't be proved.

So I am correct in thinking tonight is The Pluto show right?

Yeah can you believe that?  Whatever one thinks about Hoagie, that's just not right.  You string the guy along for years w/o making good on your bet, then just brush him aside when he seems inconvenient, try to wipe him from collective history as if he never existed, and casually appoint a new science advisor and "friend".  Major scorpion army code-of-conduct failure there.

It's actually a direct quote of Art. I shat myself laughing when he said it a few months back.
