This is the kind of programming that corporate suits would never consider. I think it will work, but if it doesn't, fire him and hire Bateman. And Nancy, I'm glad you're going ahead, too.

There's always going to be guest overlaps with the niche subjects that are discussed but open lines makes up for that ten fold. Some of the best radio art does is with open lines.

There's a reason a massive amount of rush listeners are liberals, and that's because he's so damn entertaining while you yell out responses to things you disagree with or know is wrong.

Hoagland wants this to work out too. Given that he'll have plenty of opportunity to expand on his ideas, theories, and projections concerning space ...... I believe he'll be a toned down Richard, exploring other avenues ..... not just 'wild-eyed' Mars stuff.

I believe RCH will be a pleasant surprise, and a definite asset after he gets 'settled in' to his new role.

I'll be honest, I don't buy into any of Hoagland's conspiracy theories - but I do enjoy when he talks about the space program in a normal capacity. I also really like that even he is not crazy enough to think we never went to the moon and shuts the moon hoaxers down.

It should be interesting. I'm not ready to put up $5 per month just yet for it but I am interested enough to give it a chance.

One of my favorite classic shows to listen to is when Art moderated the moon debate with RCH and Mitchell. I know RCH is full of it, but I enjoy listening to crazy and weird whether it is glass domes, bottomless holes, buried big foots, etc.
