That was a joke, Apple makes a better product, much less trouble prone. I have a IPhone 6 and love it but I still hang on with mostly Windows 7 on my computers.

Art
PC much more affordable but such a hassle with with Pop ups, and other bs. Mac por vida.

It was funny art. You rarely get mad, but you were so thoroughly annoyed with the guy that called in who worked for Mac. Good times.

MV/Liberace!

Nah, that's pretty much been proven at this point by the slight differentials in aging of astronauts who've been on the international space station for like forever.

I did not know that.

MV...I just noticed you post how many "guests" are viewing a particular post...actually I'm quite surprised by how many there are! Interesting...

So does the State of Nevada.  I'm a Midwife here in NV - and I had to get my hands on an old win7 machine to file birth certificates. :(

I hope some of those Guest's decide to join, or they may be simply not logged in. I will do a test later and will post a notice here.

Well saying in 1995 that apple might not be around for ten years makes sense during that time period because John Scully had run the company into the ground and they were close to folding. No one really could've predicted Jobs return and him bringing apple back to where they are now.

http://artbell.com/after-dark-after-show-wkeith-rowland/

Thanks, mr. Rowland. Very informative.

It's cool to hear about the inside techie stuff on Art and yours new show. It makes me feel as though I'm a part of the action.

Mr. Bell may be the talent, but you're wizard behind the curtain.

Also, please set up the monthly payment registration; Just take my money and put on good show!

Guests are gabblings getting ready to hatch! It can take a while to come out of your shell with this group, heh heh.

Some of the guests may just be spambot accounts. My little forum has 24 guests right now, all of them are spambots. After a while, you recognize the IPs.

Gotcha. If by chance I get in I will be calling from my smartphone. However, using its WiFi connected to my home router with Skype.  Perhaps having data on the method the call is being placed may help you and Keith determine the quality of the connection.

I think you made a very smart move by staying away from the corporate broadcasting industry, going it alone, preserving your freedom along the way, taking the road less traveled.  Preserving one's freedom isn't all that easy, as Eric Fromm wrote in his book, "Escape from Freedom."  As he pointed out, it's human nature to join the tribe, to sell one's soul for the empty security promised by the highest bidder, only to discover you are an enslaved disciple of the greedy psychopaths who rule this world.

But I'm confused.  Why did you sell out to the proprietary world of Apple, giving up the freedom, flexibility and unlimited possibilities of Android/Linux, relegating yourself to the status of a tribesman rather than a sovereign person?  Apple is more reliable than Microsoft, but certainly not Android.  That's just so conflicting, scaring hell out of some of us, fearing next, you might go back to another cradle like SiriusXM.  Pussies, bureaucrats/hirelings, social workers and codependents love Apple.  But then, they also love escaping from freedom.

Oh please, The IPhone is simply trouble free. Apple does a much better job of vetting the Apps that are available, there is no good argument against that. Android is also ok but if your going to place your digital life inside something I would opt for the safer one. Just my opinion.

I was just trying to be light hearted.

SiriusXM was safer.

Agree having only owned Apple products. Hard to screw the pooch with their devices. Now Microsoft giving away Windows 10? I expect total infiltration of a Chinese/Russian/NSA virus if I decide to transition to it on my PC.  ;)

It's not called "selling out" when a person opts for the better product. Art's right, if you are going to put your entire life into a devise, I only trust Apple.

Anything can be hacked if someone wants to bad enough anyways.

Anyone who puts their life inside a device, especially their financial transactions, is like going out in traffic without your seatbelt.

You guys are forgetting the iPhone 6+ "flex phone"

Nothing wrong with XM, it is a cool product. Don't confuse my dismay with their streaming with Sat direct for mobile use. If their streaming had been spiffy I might still be there.

We will do a test of our gear one hour from now. If you want you can call 1-952-CALLART

Or Skype: mitd51 (US/Canada
Or Skype: mitd55 Overseas

This will not be streamed out, just testing the gear.
