Right on.  I thought coming out of Catholic Schools that I had a thick skin.  The Marines...well shit, how do I explain that to ppl that could never understand unless you've been there.  Let's just say that if nothing was sacred in Catholic school, then NOTHING was sacred in the Corps.  (Except for GOD Himself, because GOD loves the Marine Corps.)
But, I believe that Americans have grown weak and sensitive to the point that a long look is enough to make most ppl cringe, look away and think of a happy place.

And I wonder if there is nothing Dave won't be apart of for money. That's not libelous, I'm not saying you're a money whore or anything, I'm just saying you seem to have a new "thing" every few months. Not to say Art didn't grab his far share but they were usually a bit more nuanced and led to massive things, like the global superstorm spawning a Hollywood blockbuster. Sort of gives us a nice compare and contrast to each other's side projects.

I think KTRS has streaming. He's on in the afternoons, I think his show is called "The Large Morning Show in the Afternoon" or similar. It's like a time capsule. You'll hear such things as "So, what do you think of that Pee Wee Herman guy?" and "I'm going home to watch the new Columbo episode". I exaggerate greatly, but he really is an anachronism.

I just sent KTRS a note via their listener comments form - http://www.ktrs.com/listener-comments/ - maybe if they get several they will look into carrying Art - so write in and tell them you and your family is in the StL area or listen to them via the net. Right now Larry Conners goes from 9-midnight - but I'd imagine Art's show would pull much better numbers for them than Conners.

What made it better is Norry tried to cover up his dumb question with a sharp retort "what about winter wheat?!" But winter wheat is called that simply 'winter wheat' because the strain(s) you plant in the fall and goes dormant during the winter and starts growing in spring- and the more snow coverage you have the better off the winter wheat is (it insulates the crop.) So there isn't tall wheat in the fields in the winter for crop circles to be made but, I guess, the UFOs could make snow-circles then! He tried to look smart and be snide to LMH and failed, yet again.
