I registered using my not so smartphone and actually typed Art_s Parts but damn autocorrect changed Parts to Farts and I hit submit without checking. I guess I use words like farts more than actual grown-up words.

The name hardly matters but something more original than The Art Bell Show would be nice. Midnight in the Desert is cool, given the background, but is a bit of a mouthful when explaining the show to someone.

The only way I found out Art Bell is coming back was my search for George Noory Sucks and landing on this forum. That's how I found out Art returned to Sirius XM so I was glad to listen to that program. If I had not landed on this forum, I would not be inclined to listen to anything called Midnight, Dark, Dream, Best of, Coast or any other such program. I try to shake off anything that reminds me of the current C2C and what it has become.  But if I heard "Art Bell" I would pay $15 / month or whatever just to hear the Legend. Art Bell has my vote regardless of the name of the show.

Is the plan to eventually have fill in guest hosts? Maybe on weekends?

While we obviously hope that Art is hosting the show, I think some competent hosts (selected by Art), could do a decent job filling in on weekends/when Art wants a vacation.

If that is the plan, then no to the "Art Bell Show"....

Speaking of which, no kidding here. I hope you have good lawyer and advice. I would hate to have things go badly again for you. I know Dr. J Ilias is a J.D. but I'm not sure he is expert on media, copyright, etc, despite his bonafide credentials. This is not a slight on him in anyway-- I'm sure he is fine lawyer and producer but there are arcane laws and specializations and so many details and it, at least appears, that there are forces around against you.  I don't want to be a wet blanket on things, because I'm excited, but get a good lawyer to look at contracts, music copyright issues, rights, residuals, etc etc before signing. I want this to work for you (and therefore for us selfishly.) Thanks! I can't wait.

I am not sure how this would work, but one thing I'd like to see is an online "listening party" sometime in May or June. We could start it at the regular show time, and stream one of Art's best shows. (Legally somehow...of course.....) Or heck, even just listen to the show locally off a downloaded mp3 and start at the same time.

We could have a chatroom open to speak with Art. And the kicker, to get into the chat room you'd have to donate $10-20 to a worthy charity.
