My last and final request for the show is a little bit more of a news segment at the beginning. For the last few shows he's talked a bit about the new Skype lines, a few miscellaneous things, the situation with the government shutdown and then usually goes right into the guest.

I kind of wish he'd linger for a bit, maybe talk about what's new in the paranormal and science news of the day. It's just interesting to hear him talk on his own and get his opinions on stuff.

Does anyone else agree?

Amusing that c2c had to go and steal Art's guest for tonight, and have him on the night before Art has him on.  What a bunch of babies.  I wasn't sure if Art was annoyed or amused.

Last night (this morning?), George mentioned Art at the close of the show.

They think they can steal a guest from under Art's nose and then people won't listen to Art's show because they have just heard that guest on Coast.

The thing that they don't get is that people don't necessarily listen to Art because of a particular guest. They listen to Art because of Art.

The sooner they get that into their thick skulls the sooner they might take a good hard look at themselves and the crappy product that they produce night after night and the sooner they might improve.

Unfortunately for them and fortunately for Art and for us is that this will never happen and that is why Art will always win.

Last night I turned my night stand radio on, and before I was put to sleep by dave, I heard him say "you'll get a full show now and a little extra tomorrow". DM is a little extra? Well it took about an hour and a half for them to finally get the guest they stole on. I was waiting and waiting and waiting. Before every commercial break Dave would say he was coming right up. Then when he finally came on I fell asleep. C2C is the show with 45 minutes of commercials and under 2 hours of actual talk. I would hardly say we're going to get "a little extra" tonight with Art.

I think so. Perhaps in the news segment or depending on who he has on (RCH?) maybe the whole first hour. Not sure how big the story is. He might just mention it and send people to look at the photos and that's it. If he speaks to the gasbag RCH it may go on forever.
