no he didn't - Noory hung in to the bitter end with no replays.
he must have got wind of folks noticing his recent sneaking out early nearly every Friday night and the network probably warned him?
we had an impact on his actions, apparently...  8)

A very distinct possibility. Can't slip out the shop early every friday and not expect the boss to get wind of it eventually. That, or one of his intern trolls informed him that we're on to him, or perhaps, him being here and seeing it himself.
Noory still sucks and it's suckening worse than ever.

George needs content, a stack of cue cards to read.  He'll want to tease it for a week, something to talk about 45 seconds at a time, act like he's busy puttin' sumpthin' together.

Noory called into tonight in the first hour for a few minutes to talk to his protege, Rob Simone aka Noory Jr. who Noory addressed as "Robbie"
Noory's voice sounded so diffferent over the phone without the extreme bass enhancement he uses in the studio.

Noory mentioned on the air about his 12 hour work per day for c2c.
What? We know where he spends four of those hours, sleep-talking thru interviews on the air.
But what is he doing the other eight hours he counts as work? Watching old Twilight Zone episodes for source material?  :o

Glenn Beck is asking for the documents that are destroying america. I got on amazon and sent him "Workers in the light" and "t\Talking to the dead"
ROFLMAO. Thanks for doing your part to save America.  :)

SnapT

I love how Noory ended the call by telling Rob "I love you" in a kinda creepy way, and Robbie immediately replied "I love you too!" in an also kinda disturbing way.

The C2C family is so close!

maybe a possible hint to how Robbie got his c2c guest hosting gig?  :o

Hmmm...I can't wait to hear that tomorrow.  Was it an "I knew you when you were 8 and I'm a pedophile" vibe or an "I'm boning your Mom" feeling to the exchange?

That doesn't really help, George.  I thought he'd gotten smarter than to lie about that.

I could see someone putting out an endless string of sucky shows if they had no real radio experience, no interest in the subject, did no show prep, came into the office 5 minutes before showtime, watched movie trailers and caught up on celeb gossip during the show.  That would make sense.

But if he's actually putting in effort - 8 hours a day plus 4 during the show - then he really is a moron.  If the current level of show is a product of a 12 hour work day, then he's just damn stupid and REALLY SUCKS.

Lovely Bones

^^^ Maybe he's counting his "Work At Home" hours selling vitamin products as part of his work day?

He is building a library to save these documents for the trials  later. Glenn is gonna make sure Noory gets what is coming to him.

That's it!  Snoory's downward spiral... It's the Suckening
He's slowly spinning down the drain of talk radio...Probably end up at the bottom of Mel's hole.

Maybe he will turn into some pan dimensional seal creature.  At least he would be a bit more interesting.

I don't think it's gonna make much difference whether he spends 12 minutes or 12 hours, or 18 hours or whatever.  Polishing a turd, and all that...

As soon as I heard Rob Simone's voice, saying he was a "substitute" for George Knapp, given the guest and the material to be discussed, it all made sense.

Knapp wasn't going to be a shill for George's book.  Thank god, someone on that program has some integrity.

And as soon as the squeaky, non-compressed voice of George came on talking to his protege, I turned the damned noise off and tuned in some late night jazz.

I just posted this in the Knapp thread. I agree. Good for George Knapp.

Fractal

Rico999 and Frys Girl, I had the exact same thought when I found out Knapp wasn't hosting last night.

I'm listening to the 'great debate' show now and every time George Noory asks something i find myself embarrassed for him! He was out of his league with this.. It shows what we are missing with Art not being in. Though i think either Knapp or Ian would have been perfectly fine with this show

I checked out the replay of this show featuring Mlodinow and and Chopra and George was woefully unprepared.  To be honest, it was pathetic.  Noory just hasn't the intellectual capacity to challenge these two individuals on any level.  Asking Mlodinow a question, "what IS life?"  Mlodinow told him he should get a textbook and read it.

That'd be Biology 100, George.  And don't skip the chapter on the "Krebs Cycle."  Stop by the bookstore  at Cal-State Northridge (or whatever school is close)  and pick one up.  What's inside might be of some interest.

I have to give some kudos to Coast for actually having people of the caliber of Chopra and Mlodinow, but when the host is totally incompetent to move the show forward, listening becomes the same waste of time that it is under most circumstances.   And it's too damn bad, because with the right host -- Ian, George Knapp -- or Art Bell -- the show could have been brilliant.

George tends to lower the level of any discourse he participates in to that of about the average 9th grade dropout.   Stick with Mitch Battros, RCH, Jerome Corsi and Tim Ball, George.   You don't do real science.

Pat Buchanan's on with George for the 1st hour tonight shilling his (Pat's) new book.  Anything for a buck, eh Pat?  This will be interesting. Can Buchanan handle  GN's sappy nonsense politely?

PAT FUCKING BUCHANAN?!!! AHHH SHIT I FUCKING HATE THAT ASSHOLE

I wouldn't give C2C too much credit for booking Chopra and Mlodinow; they're doing the book tour thing.  Chopra was probably rolling his eyes and shaking his head most of the night.  C2C scored a real catch with Deepak; the same for Pat Buchanan tonight.

PaT Buchanan?  Is this Sean Hannity's daily radio-abortion.

Buchanan is extremely intelligent and a lot of what he says regarding free trade not equalIng fair trade is true; too bad he is a racist.

b_dubb

A recent guest ... Christian Day ... CHRISTIAN FUCKING DAY!!!? And they say Coast doesn't have an agenda. Bullshit!

This is what makes me see red more than anything else George and producer Lisa Lyon say, and I have argued with both of them about it.

At least Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, et al don't claim to be politically neutral. That puts them head and shoulders above Noory, the bald-faced liar.  >:(

When Noory has on people telling everybody how the world is ending because it is written in scripture why don't they ever ask the person about the part where Jesus said the Antichrist, and all the other stuff would happen within the lives of the people he was telling? It seems like a pretty important detail, and might be worth asking even once.

I was driving on my way to work (I work nights) and I heard one caller call the guest a phony (and he was immediately cut off) and then another caller came on and I could swear he said "Snoory".  I didn't hear the rest of the latter call because I was just entering the underground parking garage where the AM reception doesn't reach there.
