Nope, that is a fusion reactor.  The Liquid Thorium Reactor is a fission reactor.

I hope they make it work, historically fusion has been a non-starter because it takes more energy to sustain the required magnetic fields to contain the reaction than it produces so you have to feed power into the reactor from an outside source to keep it going.

Once that hurdle is cleared the world supposedly opens up, essentially energy becomes "free."  Of course you still have to find the deuterium and tritium to fuel the thing, and those are not exactly common.  Although, I think you can use a fission reactor to "create" some tritium/deutirium, don't quote me on that...  Ah, Goggle informs me that I remembered correctly.

Looking into it, the Thorium Reactor doesn't like the tritium it produces:  so instead of more "glow-in-the-dark" watches and whatnot maybe the tritium produced in a Thorium reactor could be used in these fusion reactors.

IF they can get the Fusion reactor to self-sustain...

Man that would be great if they did that, although I somehow doubt that my electricity bill would get smaller...  Thieving bastages.  I would fix that shit.

FBI supposedly has the laptop and is investigating but mirror of the HD was also taken by some parties, apparently. And some who claim to have seen it, like Guilliani says "disgusting stuff". There now is a claim that Trump has a 'secret' Chinese bank account. And the Jewish comedian Cohen, using his alterego of Borat, has made a new show/movie in which it is claimed that Guiliani hits on a Russian reporter gal and begins a Toobin (new term due to the CNN guy.) He says he was simply "tucking in his shirt." More tapes are being dumped from a former friend/employee of Melania. And Obama is hitting the stages to promote Harris/Biden ticket. All stops are being pulled out by many actors.

I like to point out that Trump was one of the few not fooled by Cohen alter-ego Ali G back when. So many other politicians, celebrities, etc are fooled by his characters. Trump listened and then just wished him luck on his venture but didn't want any part of it.
