Humans pollute the planet then argue and point fingers over whether the resulting environmental degradation is natural or man-made. Our fondness for burning fossil fuels and spoiling our waterways with ground pollutants have created health hazards for earth's inhabitants. Climate change or not, clean energy is something we should all embrace while we get busy cleaning this shit up.

Here, here!  What reasonable person wouldn't agree with what you say.  However. Let's not let the issue be exploited by politicians looking for votes, scientists looking for grant money and commercial interests looking for profits.  Implementation of draconian regulations, that too often are based on half baked science or biased institutional zealotry,  drive up the cost of doing business which is passed on to the consumer and  effect  the livelihoods of tens of thousands.  Scientific research must be depoliticized and the influence of "carpet baggers" seeking to gain in some way from efforts to mitigate damage to the environment must be removed.  Devising a scientific research and decision making regime that is impervious to these corrupting influences should be the first order of business in the effort to minimize the impact of humans on the environment.

You'll no doubt be delighted then that Trump has passed the overturning of regulations that forced firms to not pollute rivers and streams? Way to go donny!

In other drrumpville news; Nunes's mysterious car swap WH visit the other day has him apparently now (which version of events this is, I'm sure he'll make clear later) visiting Trump to inform hm that he (Nunes) had come up with a story to support Trump's earlier tweets accusing Obama of wire tapping him. The story was and is a lie, but naturally it pleased Trump because it suggested he was vindcated. Who is drivng their clown car this week?

So when does the winning start again, dipshits? Because all I'm seeing is a turkey-necked fat man get his ass kicked at nearly every turn.

How's the Hilary Kleptocracy Administration doing?

At the moment, far more successfully than Trump's!  ;D And she isn't POTUS.

Whatever could you mean?

Its great that Donny kept his word and not install his family in powerful positions in the WH. Oh, hang on. Damn. He lied about that too.

Mrs. Clinton was sent to the dustbin of history four months ago.

I know the old bag drives you cray-cray, but really you can forget about her now. You're at the wheel, it's time to start acting like it.

Because all your current guy does is lose, while playing even more golf than the last bad president.

Well, he's not ''my guy'', and I'm not at the wheel.

I'll still take a bad president not getting anything done, over a bad president that gets things done

Amen. If only the rest of the bureaucrats and politicians would play golf, or whatever. Change Obama's Executive Orders, eliminate some regulations and Agencies, and get a Justice appointed and then they all should play golf, screw mistresses, glad-hand millionaire donors, diddle Congressional pages, or whatever floats their boats. I like sloth even better than gridlock in our politicians and bureaucrats. The less they do, the better is usually the case. Unfortunately we've arrived at a spot that the Federal government and regulatory agencies are so large that they have taken on a momentum of their own.

You may be surprised to learn that there is another side to the question that if you took the time to consider would augment your superficial, one-line quip driven understanding of why the Stream Protection Act was so heavily opposed.  Why don't you take a look at the articles linked below just for shits and giggles.  Who knows, you might actually learn something you don't know.

Wow. With 1 stroke of a pen all of the 8 zillion so-called regulations that claim to keep the world clean have been abolished. Noooooo!

No surprise someone who'd support her would think this. How's she doing with her Supreme Court nominees? Oh that's right she doesn't get any. Did her SOTU speech knock it out of the park? Oh that's right Trumps did. How's she doing with her noble irreplaceable charitable foundation? Since she has nothing to do now it must really be helping people. Oh that's right it closed. Wonder why? Since 2010 the OBama DNC Media has lost over 1100 seats nationalwide. #winning

The Cato Institute was founded in 1974 as the Charles Koch Foundation. The Koch brothers are climate deniers who have enormous holdings in the fossil fuel and pipeline industries.  Whatsupwiththat.com is a blog started in 2006 by Anthony Watts, a former TV station meteorologist.  The scientific consensus  is that climate change is real and is caused by human activity.  So it all depends on who you want to believe.  People who have their fortune invested in fossil fuels and a former TV weatherman or the vast majority of real climate scientists all over the world, including NOAA and NASA.

The coal industry is dying a natural death and no one is going to bring it back. Power utilities have been replacing coal by cheap natural gas, even wind and solar. There's nothing Trump or anyone else can do to bring it back.

Perhaps, but I don't support her. Just pointing out a reality.

Blahblah... Tell us again how Trump defeated ISIS in the first month, deported 11 million criminals in his first day (as well as starting his wall), and that all time favourite got the GOP on side to repeal and replace ACA in his first week?

He can't run a bath. And is only interested in stuff that he thinks makes him look good. Incidentally, how are you on the deep links his family and hangers on have to Putin?

Renewable Industry jobs are more than 650000, coal fewer than 70000. So it makes sense to flog a dead horse. Trump knows jack shit about anything not involving a golf club or hotel. But then, the same applies to his entire cabinet with one or two exceptions.

Lol.. This current shower of shit don't even have hope in their cannon of vision and usefulness. As for dust; maybe plenty of Columbian nose candy.

There is a difference between signing badly crafted executive orders and governing.

The clown college tacitly realized that on Friday.

And you may consider yourself at the wheel, having cast a vote for the old creep.

Might be a good thing Trump gets aquainted with the police. Get a feel for procedure as it were.
