I think as a concept they sound good, but the execution mightn't be too great. There's a civilian model too which has been under development for 20+ years that crashed and killed its test pilots in 2015. There probably aren't that many uses for it in the civilian world that couldn't be done just as efficiently with a conventional aircraft.

You must be talking about the civilian version because the military version has many good uses and has been in service for years.

Not much to say. Our government (and many citizens) don't want illegal immigrants coming to our shores illegally via boats. We round them up and ship them to detention centres off shore and in other pacific nations. We often attempt to palm many of these illegals off to other pacific nations in return for something or other. For some crazy reason, probably to piss off Trump or to score humanitarian points, Obama made a crazy deal to accept 1,200 of these illegal immigrants. Trump gets in and rightly so says "Why the fuck did we agree to take in Australia's problem."

I have no problem with him thinking that it was a shitty deal that was struck. I do object to him treating a staunch ally like shit.

It seems agreements are only good for the president of the day the deal was struck. This sets a bad precedence.
