You assume I got all that info from some sort of commercial media. I didn't. I did a paper on it and actually went to a *gasp* library where they stock science journals.

Also, you seem kind of mad, bro.

Mad? Do you mean insane or were you trying to ask me if I'm angry? ???

The answer to both is no. I just love exposing the outright ignorance of those on the left, such as yourself. It's fun!  :D

Oooh! She wrote a paper on it!! Just hilarious!!! ;D

Have you ever heard of weatherbell.com?  Based out of State College, PA.  They do a lot of forecasting(long range and short range) for businesses, farmers and the like along with providing data to hundreds of meteorologists throughout the country.  The pre-eminent meteorologist at Weatherbell is a gentleman by the name of Joe Bastardi.  You can follow what he has to say on a daily basis and you might change your opinion once you've followed him for 8 or 9 months.  He is not in the pocket of any interests.  He is a seeker of the truth as are most of us.  I'm not here to argue with you as he can make a far better case that I can.  I merely suggest you follow him for a while and see if what he says makes sense to you.  Here is the link to the business site.  Scroll down half-way and you will see his daily updates as well as his Saturday summary.

https://www.weatherbell.com/

I have heard of him. I'll check him out though to see why you like him.

I meant angry. Why are you trying to ridicule me for researching a topic and writing a paper about it? Are you really that anti-education? From your posts it would seem so but I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn't have.

That is all I can ask.  Look for longer posts of his (9-10 minutes)  to drop on the Saturday Summary and that is where he goes into detail regarding weather patterns and warming/cooling.  The current posts up there now are pretty much just short forecasts so maybe next week he'll go into his theories.  Thanks!!  :)

Because you're acting like you know and because of all the political corruption coming out now the truth is none of us know for sure. I'm not saying that there is or isn't climate change or global warming or whatever the latest catch phrase is that's due to human activity. I'd like to know for sure as I think we all would so politics FUCK OFF! Then maybe we'll actually get to the bottom of it. The truth isn't simply consensus. The truth is the truth. People like you have made science too much like politics and it's hurt it, not helped it.

What I am saying is that scientists from around the globe all agree that climate change is happening now at a faster rate then in the past due to human activity. I'm also saying that two scientists disagree and are getting paid by the oil companies, creating a "controversy". I followed the money.

The numbers might have changed since last I checked. I'm guessing a lot more people are getting paid off by the oil companies these days, or just believe them because it's so much easier.

Right and again you're confusing consensus with certitude. Theories are changed and modified all the time in science as our understanding evolves. If you want a definite answer you need to keep money and politics out of it.

Right now the battle is between the globalist lizards and the rest of humanity. You've chosen lizards so good luck with that.  ;)

If leftist leaders really cared about CO2 output why do they bitch about "per capita" emissions, and focus on the US and Europe? Shouldn't the focus be on "total emissions?" If leaders and politicians care so much about it why don't they address the supply-side? Or try to meet Paris goals- so far countries are not meeting their promises?

Yeah, so lets keep polluting the air we breath, the water we drink, and the food we eat. Sounds like a good plan.

I don't think you know that for sure so once again just a silly political cheerleader. ::)

Also, if you were really concerned about the "planet" wouldn't you be over in China protesting them? They seem to be the biggest offenders these days.  :D

And fly personal jets to exotic locales to dine on imported food, swill expensive wine, maybe get in some golf or ski, and discuss why some peasant in India without running water or plumbing needs to worry and curb his CO2 output.

I think there is 98% agreement among responsible citizenry who thinks pollution is bad whether it affects the climate or not.  I would count myself as one of the 98%. The same 98% are not in agreement regarding climate change though.

Before Obama became president I tuned in on a npr station he was talking on. He was talking about how he would help protect the environment...I don't think that ever happened.

You have to screw over the environment if you want a good economy. So, fuck you, great grandchildren, I got mine!

Like the Paris accords, it was just a lot of talk.  Talk ain't worth spit.  A great many of our politicians, Republican and Democrat, are just talk with no follow-through.

Or maybe he was just a CIA plant who said whatever he had to to get elected and good natured, politically uniformed doofuses like you and I bought it. ;)

Lovely.  Maybe The Pud has returned to his homeland to help out.

"Hospitals in Mayor Sadiq Khan’s London resemble those in a war zone, a senior surgeon working to save victims of the capital’s surging violent crime wave has said.

The shock comments made Thursday morning come after two more men were killed overnight, a couple of days after another night of violence saw a boy, 16, stabbed to death and a 17-year-old girl shot in a “drive by”.

Wednesday night’s killings, both in Hackney, East London, brought the death toll from suspected murder in the capital to 50 so far this year, pulling away from New York City, which London overtook at the weekend."

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/05/lead-surgeon-london-hospital-war-zone-two-slaughtered-overnight/

"The right to keep and bear knives shall not be infringed..."

Oooops...that's not in British Constitution....

Oooops again... Britain doesn't even have a "Constitution."

But anyway, good for the London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, to backtrack on his reduction of "Stop and Search" because of his "having previously declared the tactic racist and potentially Islamophobic."

So part of the answer is a $50 Million infusion "into the Metropolitan Police department, so that they can better arm themselves against knife attacks." I guess the Queen will have sell some of her jewelry to pay for this.

The "tough, immediate" measures involve an incredible police crackdown, a ban on home deliveries of knives and acid, and expanding law enforcement stop-and-search powers so that police may stop anyone they believe to be a threat, or planning a knife or acid attack.

What, if anything, should Trump do about the gas massacre in Syria? Nuke? Apologize like Obama?  Let’s see if we can discuss this with our own words.

So, every time the deep state want to murder a bunch of people it's Trump's fault?

No - that’s what the words “if anything” refer to.

Always-ready-for-war Senator Lindsey Graham on Hugh Hewitt’s show is calling for a massive attack from air and sea. He also says Assad is a legitimate military target.

After Nearly 100 Years of Gun Control, London Adding Knife Control

On April 2, 2018, Breitbart News reported that Britain began an incremental adoption of stringent gun controls in 1920. The controls were ratcheted up during the decades that followed, until the hoops one had to jump through for legal handgun ownership reached a point were doing so became impractical. (The handgun prohibitions were contained in the Firearms Act of 1997.)

In 2009, just 12 years after the passage of the Firearms Act, the Daily Mail declared Britain was “the most violent country in Europe.” It reported that Britain had “a worse rate for all types of violence than the U.S.”

On October 21, 2017, Breitbart News reported that rapes in London were three times higher than in New York City and, on April 2, 2018, Breitbart News reported that London’s homicide rate had surpassed the number of homicides in New York City, year-to-date.
