But I honestly can't take you seriously if you link to "The Daily Caller" Gravity (seriously). You'll have to up the quality a notch or two.

"Veteran FBI agents say FBI Director James Comey has permanently damaged the bureau’s reputation for uncompromising investigations with his “cowardly” whitewash of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information using an unauthorized private email server."

It would be ironic after taking a couple of hundred million from the Russians, 28 million from Morocco, a hundred million here and there from the Saudis, that she would be taken down over lunch money from some geriatric guy from Bangladesh.

Yeah really, wonder if they will blame the Russian's for this shake down.

Do not be disheartened, going into this I knew it was not going to be as easy as it was being portrayed.
"The U.S. government had a $182 billion budget surplus" a small win is still a win.

"Authorities saw a 40 percent decline in apprehensions of illegal immigrants from January to February, a time period that historically holds a 10 to 20 percent "  Even with out the wall we are beginning to make progress in halting the invasion.

Despite the efforts of the main stream media:  OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) - Democrats again fell just short in a closely-watched election as Heath Mello lost the Omaha mayoral race on Tuesday after a fierce debate within the national party over his anti-abortion views

Comey is out so I expect to see some incitements and prosecutions coming up. Then you have this little story.  "While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladesh’s prime minister to aid a donor to her husband’s charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouse’s business."

http://circa.com/politics/clinton-pressured-bangladesh-prime-minister-personally-to-help-foundation-donor

Ya dont say

I see. What makes you think that new evidence would surface to indict Clinton just because a new FBI director was in place, that wasn't there when Comey was?

And do you think that the collation of evdence against Flynn at al, that is ongoing will suddenly disappear? Not to mention the subpeonas flying in his direction.

Might it be because you imagine Trump will install a Trump biased FBI director?  Weird how that is acceptable when the republicans will bend over backwards in finding the smallest most tenuous excuse to not appoint someone if there is the slightest chance that candidate might be democratic leaning. "We can't have that person, because thirty years ago their nephew worked for someone whose dad once shared a car pool with a possble democrat voter"

Trump gets a pass because he's orange or something? This defendng the constitution and separation of powers bullshit only applies to democrats eh?  Didn't too, Jimmy Carter have to divest himsepf from his peanut farm before being POTUS? But Trump gets a pass from the republicans and a blind eye is turned, even though him and his family are making millions per month for themselves because he's POTUS.

That it will be a big song and dance, nothing will get agreed to/accomplished and there will never be the national will to attempt it again - basically ceding all of the power to the federal government. Look how long it has taken to get the states to call for one.

I posted the following on Facebook on 10/14/16 and I think on BellGab about the same time. What I failed to see coming was the degree of butt hurt and viciousness on the part of the left that would manifest and the lengths the Dems (to include the MSM) are willing to go to damage Trump notwithstanding the damage their malevolence also does to the Country.  Obama and Clinton are the people most responsible for Trump being elected and the growing polarization in this country and they both know it.  Their continuing "resistance" to Trump instead of their graciously fading into the background as all other losers have done is the ultimate act of hubris and selfishness.  Their actions and the silly behavior of congressional democrats and MSM will do nothing more than worsen their already piss-poor image and ensure them a special place in infamy. For them the worst is yet to come and Trump should not make futile attempts at conciliation but must press forward with housecleaning and investigations into all wrongdoing no matter where the investigations lead.

10/14/16

"I have come to the conclusion that there can be no good outcome to this election.  Given all that has been revealed about Hilliary, and Donald's tendency to make thoughtless, bonehead statements with amazing regularity, whoever take's office will have been so badly mauled and battered by their respective critics that  I question wether either will be able to govern effectively.  The fallout from this election will be heavy and lasting.

Hilliary will never be fully trusted even by her supporters and you can be sure that her detractors will use her demonstrated dishonesty and duplicity to question and undermine her legislative agenda. You can also be sure that our international foe will run the video of her buckling at the knees like she'd been pole-axed and her being flopped into a limousine like a dead game fish relentlessly.

Donald will continue to be Donald and will, through his inarticulate and/or impulsive utterances, continue to give the opposition plenty of opportunity to heap on scorn and ridicule and with the enthusiastic support of a leftist MSM will succeed in making him look like a dope.  In addition, even if he survives getting cut off at knees by the republican establishment he will never garner its favor making successful implementation of the changes he as in mind a long shot.

I could  not in conscience vote for Hillary, yet as hard as I've tried to get fully on board wth Trump I, like many other conservatives, still have to preface anything I say about my intention to vote republican with something like, "I'm no fan of Donald Trump but......"  In reality we're forced to choose the least onerous of the two or not vote at all.  This is the choice that our two-party political system has given us.  Something has to change but nothing will unless this ridiculous election season produces a grass roots, massively popular third party movement.

Let's have dueling fake news about what the FBI thinks about Comey

http://dailycaller.com/2017/05/09/former-fbi-agents-praise-comey-firing-video/

So I'll go this "low" (Daily Beast) -- lower on the totem than NYT but still not "fake" news.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2017/05/10/new-fbi-boss-could-be-more-controversial-than-comey

‘A Death in the Family’

"For the time being, FBI agents are facing confusion, grief, and anger.
“Everyone feels like there has been a death in the family,” said one counterterrorism agent.
“We’re basically sitting shiva,” said another agent, referring to the Jewish mourning period just after a funeral.
At least a dozen agents posted photos on their private Facebook pages of themselves with Comey (or just of Comey). Some made those their temporary profile pictureâ€"a gesture agents usually reserve for when a colleague dies in the line of duty.
Another agent was pessimistic that things will get better.
“The real impact will be the distrust of the agency under the leadership of the new director,” the agent said. “No matter who gets the job, there will be a cloud of suspicion because the President is unpopular with much of the population. That bad faith will make it harder to do my job.” . . . .

What in the frack are you rambling about? Flynn was a life long Democrat. Most of Trump's cabinet are moderates or lean liberal. Hell, Trump is too.

The last two candidates. McCain is the definition a jackass. Romney is left of center from Massachusetts.

And serving as President is costing Trump money in his businesses, not raking it in as you say.

Whatever Maxine Water, the democrats, you, me or anyone else says about Comey's firing matters little. The point is, Trump fired Comey because (among other aspects of the Russia investigation) he'd asked for more resources to continue. Trump thought Comey could be a company man, loyal only to him. And threw his toys when it was obvious he wasn't; It probably enraged him when Comey said that the possibility he'd influenced the election, re: Clinton revelations, made him nauseous. Trump must have flipped bigly time hearing that. "What? He's more famous than me and now he's implying Clinton lost because of him? I won, d'ya hear? Me!!!"

Anyone who believes Trump got his DAG and AG in and told them to have a completely made up reason (three different versions so far from the WH, why Comey was fired), typed up can buy the ocean view chateau I have in Switzerland. ;D

I choose not to believe any of the news. You will find an article that suits your paradigm. That's fine. You can't vote. You can channel Trump's inner thoughts all you want. It is fun seeing him inside your head.

I hope we have one or two more Supreme Court justices retire so we can cement this pendulum swing towards conservatism and then DC can get in a logjam as far as I am concerned.

I think the only reason you hate orange is because nothing rhymes with it. How do you feel about purple?

I don't give a shit if Flynn is dem, rep, a member of the moonies or a cast member of captain scarlet. Obama warned Trump about him, Yates told the WH counsel he was a security risk, and Trump still kept him another two weeks and only fired him because the WP revealed the story about his Russian and Turkey ties. That and that alone. Trump basically believed he'd wing it, after all what the fuck would the previous POTUS who'd fired him and the DoJ know? Bad publicity got him fired, not the fact he was open to blackmail, and Trump can't stand bad publicity that could impact on him.

As for makng money; its laughable to suggest he's now making less. He hasn't given anything up and in fact makes a fortune from his golfing weekends away in Florida. His son in law's company used Trump in their presentation to sell fast track green cards in China last week. They apologised, but so what? Mission accomplished.

This. Don't forget W who was a moderate. Dole was moderate. HW Bush was moderate. Meanwhile were told they're so far right that they were actually left and Hitler. But of course Obama who's leftwing extremist policies prove he hates the US is labeled as a moderate. 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

Hillary was slightly less of a quack than Obama. Bill was more moderate than Hillary, and had moments when he could be mistaken as a moderate. Like when Newt bent him over and shoved a balanced budget up his ass.

This is why no one cares what the left us to say. They lack critical thinking, objectivity and credibility. It's always funny when you see the wall of posts by the cliche leftwingers here. Skip right past them. Not even sure why they're here, Art Bell was conservative libertarian and voted Republican.

He was invited to Chelsea's wedding and donated to more democrats than he did republicans. They wanted his interviews. They wanted to be in his TV show. Alarm system (which is odd that government wouldn't provide alarm systems for high officials  :o ) and some flights alleged, as I recall. But precedent was set. And Comey cost your candidate the election, according to your candidate and her team.  So, in addition to his other problems, you should be happy he was fired. An "at will" position and Trump was well within the law to fire. Timing, to me, was bad, but since he can't do anything without the media partisans criticizing Trump did the right thing to fire. All investigations (Russia, Clinton, Huma/Weiner, Trump, etc) still all on-going (as they should be.)

I think it was a fence and I don't think it was even flights, I think it was limousine rides. Too lazy to look it up. Overall I am sure it was less than $20k - which I guess back in 93 might have bought something.

I can't remember any Democrat firing Hoover over ethics violations.

Figures you would take comfort with a guy that is under investigation for ethics violations for not recusing himself from heading up the Clinton email investigation - after his wife took $500,000 in donations from Terry McAuliffe.
