It looks like nobody wants to defend eliminating the burdensome regulations that prohibit child labor and paying coal miners with scrip that's only accepted in the company store. Weren't those part of what made the good old days so good?

So, this really is a rhetorical echo chamber...chamber...chamber...

But in principle, you're not opposed to relaxing health, safety regulations and remuneration security of workers?

Only in Britain.  ;)

Look forward to it in the US. But no complaints now.

This, I think, is how Trump's supporters would _like_ to imagine him, but that's fairy tales.

Nope.

This is more accurate.  There is a lot of heresy in America.

And so, so very Soviet era. Yes. Probably accurate. I bet the pillow talk he had with Vlad last night was sweet. "You hang up first".. "No you".. "No you"...

Its all there in the splash screen, T72 tanks and Mig 25 bombers.  ;D, both keepng America great.

You know don't you, that when Trump said the military will be built up, he didn't mean the US military. You did know that, right?

Huh?! It's Japanese, you idiot! I know, that doesn't fit into your narrative though. God, I'm so glad we're done with that kinda horseshit now.  :D

The tanks are Russian T72's,  the aircraft Mig25's. The Japanese don't make tanks or bombers. But you knew that.  ;D

Nah, just hoping to MAGA in the way it was before the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and other mishaps got a lot of pesky, bleeding heart do-gooders all riled up about workplace safety. A good start would be to let factory supervisors carry sticks again to discourage the kids from lollygagging. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

I hope you've not gone soft and are advocating only a stick be used? Once upon a time you'd have turfed them out of their rat infested hovels and made to dredge the sewers.

I have the silent short on that. There were a lot of horrible abuses going on back then and may they never surface again.  Nobody wants to go back to that.  The problem is there are a lot of frivolous regulations today hampering business.  Those need to be repealed.

Yeah, I'm afraid I've mellowed with age and I'm not happy about it.

I know you don't, but that stuff would still be going on if it weren't illegal. And I agree that there are too many frivolous regulations, and there needs to be a sensible middle ground. I don't have enough faith in human nature to trust every business owner to voluntarily treat workers in a fair and humane way if they can get away with doing the opposite.

Frankly the idea that the Japanese are opposed to Drumpf is a point in his favor. Since when is Godzillatown the birthplace of King Shit of Opinion Hill?

This is the same country that passed laws legalizing the execution of people who misspell "Fukushima." Fuck them.

Not saying it isn't, tit. But the choice of aircraft and tanks is quite telling.

He's just trying to demonize Trump. Soon he'll pivot to the Nazi angle. You know that's very popular these days.  ;)

I'm not sure I do either.  We just need to stay vigilant as a citizenry.  I'll raise hell if I think regulations that can possibly harm folks are repealed.  Of course, what that may be is somewhat subjective but I think we can all agree that certain things are not acceptable in any way.

Such as the tweet Trump put out about yesterday's crowd being a record turnout? Seemed to go quiet about that later. Strange guy.  ???
