I like Catherine Austin Fitts too... (love your kitty pirate avatar btw, cracks me up every time), but lately she is pissing me off with all her bowing and ass-kissing to GS. What is it with these people? Do they not think we notice? When they start in with all the kissing, I'm imagining two Ressies monkeys picking bugs off each other. Disgusting.

After I heard her story (about a year ago) I was impressed (loved the great vampire squid, but that came from Matt Taibbi). I signed up for her monthly web casts (at $30 a month they are no bargain and I'm thinking of canceling). Interesting, but lately it seems like she's hawking precious metals and probably making commissions off sales through Franklin Sanders, the Tennessee geezer she has on, pretty much monthly.

The problem with these folks (not unlike Alex Jones) is that they are right about a lot of stuff, but they have no tangible solutions other than 'buy gold' or "buy e-foods direct" or whatever. And they never back off their 'doomsday' mindset, even if they saw an opening for something positive; positive doesn't sell.  Is the average person supposed to move into the hills of Tennessee with the family and kids, buy gold and guns, farm their own food, etc. to survive?  Meanwhile (at least in CAF case) these folks are pulling in $30 per month from thousands of subscribers on their VISA Card? I dunno...

Anyone else have any opinions on Catherine? Genuinely uncompromising, devoted to evolving systems OR Conventional, dyed in the wool capitalist in sheep's clothing?

I havent seen anyone mention Bonnie Crystal she was a really good guest. She talked about caves and jumping down into holes and such she even named some new areas after Art.  Ramona Rock, the wild card cave, bell rock or something like that. LOL Wonder what happend to her. I loved that show.

do you remember bonnie crystal talking about her company's video display technology which was some kind of strange amalgamation of plasma/lcd/vacuum technology?  a few years after i heard that show, i searched around to see what their company was doing to bring this into the market and what kind of success they were having with it.  the answer:

In all seriousness though the first five hour interview with Jim Sparks has to be one of the best abduction interviews Art has done.  I don't really know if it was on the level but damn it was entertaining.

I liked this guy John Alexander.  He's retired military so he has a rank before his name.  He was in the remote viewing unit depicted in the movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats."  Knapp interviewed him and because Alexander is ex-military, Knapp asked him what the greatest security threat to the US was. 

Alexander then proceeded to state that he had just seen Michael Moore's movie 'Capitalism'.  Alexander hadn't cared for anything else Moore had done, but Capitalism had gotten him to thinking that severe income inequality was the greatest threat to US security.

Knapp (who I think has some conservative leanings, but whom I respect because he has a complex mind) almost sounded as if he had been dealt a body blow.  To his credit, Knapp let the man say his peace and then they proceeded to discuss other subjects.   Snoory would've banned him right away.

That was the most subversive thing I've ever heard on talk radio in 2010.   And I listen to liberal talkers like Thom Hartmann. I googled John Alexander and learned that he's no socialist commie pinko AT ALL.

"Capitalism: A Love Story" is a pretty compelling documentary.  it's really something to see how the average, law-abiding American is being reduced to an ATM for the wealthy laid out for everyone to plainly see. 

see the Bank of America internal document where they declare that the USA has effectively become a plutonomy.  go look that up.  it will piss you off

Most of the guests I really like have already been named (and most of them are Art-regulars instead of Noory-regulars):

Dr. Michio Kaku - I find this guy fascinating. He's a nerd like me, but he's also very intelligent and capable of talking about a dry subject like theoretical physics in a way that is both entertaining and compelling.

GIS (Cook/McBeath) - I don't completely buy into the EVP phenomenon, but I do believe that these guys have caught some interesting unexplained noises. When Art has these guys on, the show moves quickly and it's fascinating.

Terence McKenna - When it comes to somewhat bizarre theories, some prefer Hoagland. But me? I'm a McKenna fan. Art's interviews with him were great.

Father Malachi Martin - Not only did Father Martin discuss topics that genuinely interest me (exorcisms, religion), but there was an obvious affection between Art and Father Malachi Martin that made those episodes really pop.

Peter Davenport (UFO Reporting Center) - I found this guy very easy to listen to, and UFOs are my favorite C2C topic.

Col. Philip Corso - I don't buy anything Corso says, but damned if it wasn't compelling radio.

Congressman Steven Schiff - I don't think he did more than one show, but this one was a great one.

Phoenix Councilwoman Frances Barwood - I don't know if she did more than one show, but she did at least one and she was caught up in the Phoenix lights (a big event for C2C and one that was consistently handled by C2C in an entertaining manner)

Nick Pope (U.K.'s "Project Bluebook") - This guy has been on with Art, Noory, Knapp, and Ian. While I prefer his early shows with Art, I think he's usually very engaging and easy to listen to. Maybe it's the British accent.

Linda Moulton Howe - She's continued to appear with Noory, but the stuff she did with Art between 1996-2000 is my favorite. Art's Parts, Roswell anniversaries, UFO investigations...she comes across and intelligent and thoughtful and personable. Most of all, she comes across as reasonable instead of woo-woo-wacky, which is great.

When I first heard Ms. Fitts on C2C, I was blown away.  She's obviously extremely intelligent.  Then I Googled her and, as I said elsewhere, read that she accused former Secretary of State Condi Rice of trying to poison her.  That seemed a bit over the top, so I took a lot of what she said last year with a grain of salt.  The last time she was on, she was discussing the mortgage crisis, and the fact that the big banks were using bad paper in their foreclosure proceedings.  Once again, she sounded like the common sense lady I'd initially thought that she was. 

Someone today alerted me to something Ms. Fitts had written about how the large brokerage companies were investing in prison industries.  http://www.narconews.com/Issue40/article1657.html  This link was referenced in an article about how Georgia prisons were using prisoners as slave labor.  (I used to laugh about Alex Jones' term "Prison Planet," but now I'm wondering!)

I've concluded that although Fitts sometimes can be a little eccentric, her good qualities DEFINITELY outweigh her bad ones.

We Sinners had better start purchasing some parkas, because *HELL* is about to freeze over.  I heard Jerome Corsi last night and I totally agreed with him!  Moreover, he broke some news available nowhere else.

Forgive me if this is old news because you also heard it last night, but Corsi said that the government is going to resume the program under NAFTA, which will allow Mexican truck drivers to haul anywhere in the US.  This is a BIG DEAL for 100 obvious reasons.

Clearly, this is an even  STUPIDER idea now than it was when the Bush Administration first tried to institute it.  As you all now, Mexico is in the thrall of a civil war, a war in which its government is fighting about a dozen drug cartels.

it will be interesting to see if the Teamsters start backing a gang/cartel in mexico to blow up trucks before they come into the US.  they seem like one of the groups most likely to suffer because of this insane idea. and american truck drivers

This is basically my favs too. Any one insane out there science episodes, art had some great ones about nanotech. And Art was such a great host when it came to new things. Graham Hancock is probably my all time favourite guest as it was thanks to him that I became interested in these topics in the first place. I actually like Micheal Cremo even if each show with him on is the same. Brian Greene, Stanton friedman, Neil deGrasse Tyson,James McCanny, Charles Seife, and basically any guest like that. I'm prob also the only guy here who actually likes RCH. Totally insane, but always entertaining and always so positive which can be a nice change from all the end of the earth merchants u get here.

There was a guy who told a story about building an un-manned fusion-powered rocket, back in the 50's or 60's, and shortly before launching it(from White Sands?  Or some other desert dry lake) a plane showed up with a bunch of suits from the government.  According to his story, the government guys just watched the launch passively, then asked him if he could control the landing.  They gave him a set of coords for Groom Lake, or A51.  Then he goes off on how the entire floors of the large "hangar" buildings visible at A51 are actually elevators, and under the desert they had, among other things, an "intelligent" or "symbiotic" engine that they wanted to see if he could fix.

Don't remember his name, but damn the stories the guy told were epic.

And, last but not least, Mike "Madman" Markham.  What the hell happened to that guy anyway?

That would be David Adair.  The story is pretty incredible.  It has too much of a ring of a braggadocio big fish story to me.  The guy is in a couple of UFO type documentaries also.  I think he is in the same genre as Dr Dan Burisch, another egomaniac.  I personally don't buy either of these stories but they are pretty entertaining, I'll give them that.

Yeah...I did medium-intensity search for anything about the guy a while ago.  If he fried himself, you'd think an article would have shown up somewhere.  I found nothing that was not related all to incidents before he was busted for the transformers and spent a few months in jail.
The Art interview of him I heard was post-prison, and he was no longer using stolen stuff, and he was building in a large shop or garage someone was letting him use.

Did you guys hear the thing about the person who contacted Art months later, saying he supposedly came across an newspaper article about a man discovered on a beach, his body inside of a length of metal pipe that had been crushed?  The article was supposed to be from the 1920s or something.
Now that's way more entertaining than him just getting fried.
