That is the final straw. Cancelling my membership is indeed a sound move, however, Noory is due to receive a FastBlast or two from me right up his arrogant ass. I have truly missed our Art Bell shows from the shoutcast. If Noory thinks this is going to end the badmouthing of him on this site, he is sorely mistaken. I will recruit a whole army of J.C. Websters and we will call his show every night. Picket his appearances. Put hexes and curses on him and whatever the fuck else tickles my fancy. Heya guys, I'm mainly a stalker on many of these sites, but long time listener of Art thanks to my job. Irishman living in zurich who listens as he works, but reason I was done with Steamlink a long time ago was taking away the bumper music. Such an important part of the show, as Art realised so well. Added so much atmosphere to so many mind boggling topics, and gave u a chance to reflect on all that was said. I live in Europe, so can't listen to the show live, and when u got idiots like Noory with his new artists going on about something that u can't even hear I feel like throwing my mp3 player away. Other shows manage to integrate music in to their podcasts, especially when it's such an vital part of the show as it was with Coast to Coast. Anyway sorry for the rant, and I basically joined to thank Gandalf for his link as I downloaded some of arts old music from the good old days. Thanks mate, i appreciate the effort.

A very valid observation ghostlurker. And I totally agree with you on this new artist night. I strongly feel this is only done because Noory has signed himself into the royalties if these new artists ever make it big. Sorta like the big cocaine dealer getting a cut out of all the product sold.

I probably should try to make myself a bit clearer. When Art was host, he was a true storyteller. He knew the timings well, would build each segment up to a crescendo getting your mind active and leaving off at a totally tantilising point with an amazing piece of music. The structure of his shows was amazing. Even topics that you would normally laugh off like Mel's Hole were built up in such a way that you were always wondering what if. The lad was a true master of radio. George just seems to read off his book of prepared questions. With Art I was spellbound no matter the subject, with George I know I could do a lot better myself. And I say this as someone who quite likes George.

Going out of town tonite for 2.5 weeks and my sub was set to lapse yesterday so I followed their link to cancel and they took my $6.95 anyway.  Emailed Lex and wondering if I'll ever get it back.

Several years ago I cancelled and then renewed about 6 months before I found Coastgab. It wasn't long after that I realized c2c had no value. Any shows I wanted to listen to were much more available through contacts here than premrad.

I don't wish noory or any of his associates harm. But I am sure as hell not going to help them profit. Their shows are shit. Period. I haven't listened to noory for a very long time so maybe he has improved... I doubt it. Knapp and Punnett do nothing for me. They don't suck but they aren't the caliber of Bell.

Sending premrad money says all is good, and it isn't.

I think the whole theory of Noron being a homo has been kicked around, and it probably does have some merit. He does seem to be a bit too friendly with "Tommy". Just my opinion but I think you're spot on.

BTW, what happened to P90-X??  Maybe the 90 days are over, so they X-ed Snoors out?  Probably they had a short term deal with C2C and have been underwhelmed with the response so they terminated the sponsorship?  That's my guess.  That plus the fact that a dumpy old turd like Snoors is not the best spokesperson for a fitness product.  The C2C audience is probably not the demographic they should be shooting for.  The tin-foil hat and conspiracy crowd is just not all that much into bulking up and buffing out, my best guess. So what sponsorships can we anticipate on C2C as Snoors enters his golden years?  Viagra, Cialis??  Metamucil and Ensure??  Maybe the Snoorman bumping around the studio in his Hoveround??
