I really don’t think the CDC would’ve figured it out eventually. They would probably do what they’re doing now and just keep pushing for a vaccine for political reasons but that’s really fucking interesting!

Gin and tonic became the drink of choice in the tropics, to prevent Malaria.  The acid in Coffee is also, Quinine.

I wonder how many shit canned their stimulus payment and are wondering where it is.

They haven’t figured out AIDS yet, and it’s the same clowns.

Thanks. I had completely missed that great news in the speech.  :)

Just in case you didn't think you were retarded enough. You're welcome.

Does Dave Noorie still believe that "there are no coincidences?"

Meanwhile in England only half of the people with actual symptoms are obeying

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/29/coronavirus-symptoms-not-isolating-sage-track-and-trace

and under their tracing program you are supposed to stay home if you have just been in contact with a poz, doesn't say anything about a test for you:

QuoteThe new system, which launched this week, requires people to self-isolate for 14 days if they are told by tracers that they recently came into contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

One can imagine compliance with this last part will be negligible.  Where's Arky when you need him?

I went to my local Walmart tonight for some groceries. I made a point of going late to avoid the soviet style line ups. No line up outside. I walked right in. It was only sparsely populated. I made a point of going the wrong way down every isle. Freedom. Feels good, man.

Blood of a pig.   "Researcher suggests coronavirus can linger in air for hours, even years"  years.  Years.  YEARS.  YEARS!!!!

Ain't that something thread?  Let's say that somehow you make it through all this shit.  Five years from now you can be doing the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever strut having a good old time, choking down a slice and whammo!
Corona-Chan can dive bomb out of a clear blue sky and do the Death from Above thing to your ass.

One of my favorite poems as a kid:

I snoze a sneeze into the air;
It fell to earth, I know not where.
But hard and cold were the looks of those
In the vicinity of the sneeze I snoze.

Haha I have no idea my grandpa used to say it, like he was clever.

I have been working on an update to reflect the latest information you have provided:

I coofed a coof upon the breeze;
Around the world it blew with ease
Until one day, like a reproof,
I somehow snorked up my own coof.

That is highly amusing. So a completely unfiltered, live webcast is now more questionable than highly censored main stream outlets? While summit news pulled this interview out of hour of footage- the "interview" was on unicorn riot.

I get that one person saying "we are moving to the burbs next" does not make it true. There was a different guy last night telling the unicorn riot "interviewer" that "we have to burn it down. Everything has to burn. This is just the start, and we are moving to the suburbs next and then other cities. This ain't nothing for us niggers after 300 years of slavery."

Now, do I believe that he spoke of everybody? No. Do I believe that he was giving his thoughts at the time live to the world without any filter or censorship? Yup. Same thing for this guy.

I know that you only post memes and cannot answer questions. But what is it about this story that you find "questionable?" Do you not believe that is what they protester said?

Jeez. And here I was nearly ready to shed my hazmat suit for the summer weather.  :'(

I am curious though. If it lives for years, then why is the same researcher saying that "Ten feet is better that 6." If it is living there for years, I don't think that those 4 feet are going to make any difference. I just want to go on record as saying that 100 feet is better than 6. And anybody who comes within that distance of my front door should be prepared to face a light "peppering" of 00 buckshot.

So that's it? MD puts up the 8000th post on the woofloo and it is over? From "we are all going to die- lock down the economy and buy your personal ventilator" to "meh, it was fun while it lasted" all in the space of a couple of months?

I know it is older now, but I don't think I saw it on this thread... The CDC gave new estimates. "Officials estimate a 0.4% fatality rate among those who are symptomatic and project a 35% rate of asymptomatic cases among those infected, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26% "

From a zerohedge article that does link to the CDC report if anybody is interested.

Nothing to see here, move along. Time to move on to racial strife, civil war, insurrection, political posturing, looting, and conspiracies of how it has been, or will be, escalated, exploited,  or even planned from the beginning....and how forced unemployment, mask wearing, and lock-downs due to Corona-Chan helped escalate the latest "I Can't Breath" riots....which can involve masks but not a lot of social distancing....

Lest the thread shrivel in a dying burst of AJ links I had resolved to produce a lengthy summation illustrating for Shreddie's benefit how, with talk of aerosols, science was returning to the ancient idea of disease-bearing miasmas that just float around making people sick with a randomness that defies any real management, a call for humility where science is forced to admit that its laboratory models and glacial pace are poor bases for public policy in a crisis, and a warning that, once scientists start making public policy, they are now politicians and subject to popular will, but I realized I didn't care enough to post it.

I got an odd postcard in my mailbox this afternoon. It says "--VACANT--" Postal Customer this card was placed in this receptacle to indicate a VACANCY.  This was along with both mail and a package. And was hand-written by my local postmistress "Please fill out this card!" "Thanks."  The form said "Enter names of people who may receive mail at your address." "Thank you, POSTMASTER."
1) the simple explanation is I get mail addressed to some former owner or someone who mistypes on forms. And I always- I thought this was being a good citizen and neighbor- write on the letter: "Postmaster: please forward or return to sender. No such person at this address" and put into mailbox.

2) the local Postmaster doesn't like me doing this and/or the private contractor who carries the mail? I don't know why, however, because I'm a rare person who using the Post Office quite a bit, especially under Corona Chan lockdown.

3) the other is that I still haven't filled out the Census Form. And maybe they are using the Post Office to get the data since they don't want to send a person due to Corona Chan (and now 'I Can't Breath' insurrection.) I was sort of curious of how they would handle getting Census data in Corona Chan times and so, maybe, the threat of withholding mail?

4) further down the speculative, conspiracy side.....they trying to determine a Red or Blue list? And if I go in to my Post Office to return the form will I be taken to a secret room by a multicultural postal worker to be 'dealt with?/   ;)
