Thanks Dynamo. I've seen some documentaries on such clinics.  In the UK is there a constant presence of protesters outside such clinics?
I can't imagine having to go to a clinic and having people yell at me on the way in for an appointment.   
Was there any male staff that worked at the clinic?  Do you feel that a male nurse could effectively work at such a clinic?

The clinic I was at had protesters sporadically, the local community actually actively discouraged them in their own South London straight to the point way...

Another branch we had was in East London and they had the same group twice a week. It is worth noting that on more than one occasion we had protesters who found themselves in a difficult situation who then became clients which further cemented my belief that nobody knows how they will feel til they are in the position.

We had no male nurses, we had male and female surgeons, but due to the traumatic circumstances a lot of clients found themselves in to have to be doing something so very difficult it was probably for the best. It was certainly never just for convenience for the vast majority, we had many rape victims, people from countries where they would be killed by the state or by family for being found to be pregnant, prisoners, victims of domestic abuse, women who were illiterate and had to come over from Ireland in secret. The nicest and loveliest male nurse would probably still engender panic in some of the ladies we had in.

I managed 40 minutes of it on in the background. I can tell you that I really want to punch the little shit-stain in the face as well. "I want to give you the opportunity to swear on the bible..." Be honest, MD. If he were to come up to you and "give you the opportunity" to swear on the bible that you did your job yesterday, would you? I would laugh at him and tell him to get bent. I'm not swearing on a bible for anybody just because it would make them feel better.

And the one guy actually did it. Still doesn't satisfy him. He's off asking everybody else to as well. So, what did the one guy who swore gain? What point did it have? Now what if 50% of them danced to the idiots tune and swore on the bible? It would make no difference. I really want to watch the guy get hit by a bus so that there is one less annoying jackass on the earth (or even wiped out by a virus.)

Did you actually see the video that he was showing them to get that response? That’s what’s important, not what you think of him personally.

There certainly are some interesting considerations that have to be taken when dealing with humans.
