I've been working with some guys out of Rome recently.  Good dudes. Funny as hell.  We were having all kinda install issues - drug on for weeks. Then one DM's me: "Trying to install our product is like Christ's Passion".

I had a colleague who was seconded to some NATO group and he said that the Italians had about the worst security in NATO (this was before expanded NATO) but great food. Said it was almost embarrassing. He was German though, so you know the feelings between the two (maybe blame for loss.)  He was a tech guy and was tasked with simply monitoring signals and such and said the Italians were so bad. He also gained weight sitting in the van and filing reports, he said.  He also had some somewhat elaborate theories about NATO and pipelines and US profiteering somewhat 'off the books.'

I say Jamo Reese is the primary target for Dietrich's egotistical vengeance in the near future.  Reese has quickly wormed his way to instant cult-team member extraordinaire.  Reese seems to have the attitude that rather than become Dietrich's parrot or protege, that he is a student of the occult with the knowledge to eclipse even Dietrich himself.
