Heather coming back to do politics again after ditching the show again is to shit on Art fans to get us to quit subscribing.
I think we should flood the lines tonight and let her know what the subscribers (her employer) think of the job she's doing.

Art should stand in. The show is too much for her. It's not about the paranormal, it's about Art. I miss his open conversations about current events and exploring ideas. It's about Art, his voice, his personality, his interesting take on anything.

Time to move on. The dinosaur of a show might've had a chance if Art had stayed and been more innovative, breathing some fresh new ideas into it. Even Dead Air turned out to be another EVP show.
Catty gossip is something I don't need. I hope Art proves me wrong, but with his health problems on top of everything else...Time to move on like The Bell Philes did.

I have nothing against Heather or anyone here. As far as all the shows, I just don't believe in anything I don't have solid proof of. But people are STARVING for real entertainment. Art could take a nothing guest and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile. Interesting voice, insightful questions, entertaining guests and shows. Sad that we are left with crumbs of the great one. Nothing compares to you. Nothing personal, no one's fault. Just a fact. We aren't stupid, far from it, but growing crazy from the wait, Art (perhaps throw us a bone like a daily half hour pre-recorded that only time travelers can access, or for Halloween say 3 hours of your readings of true ghost stories from faxes, listener emails, accounts?)

The world won't care how or where (MITD, Gab Cast, Bell Philes) just that Art do his annual true ghost story show please.

Art said he reads this Heather thread so here goes:  to reinvigorate the show and be able to appear on your show again - set a clever trap, announce your appearing on Dead Air '16, evacuate with your loved ones the day before, do the show from Heather's, the police nab the nut, and the news publicity gets back affiliates and listenership. Perhaps please consider alternately for your legion of loyal, true blue fans doing a Halloween ghost story show on The Bellcast or The Bell Philes.

It is arguably the signature show of the year. I understand a self-proclaimed witch, Heather, wishes to do Halloween, but NO ONE CAN DO THAT SHOW LIKE ART BELL. His voice reading of listener-faxed stories and reverence for each caller's story. I listen to the 24hr ghost binge of his past shows and its like a good performance of Shakespeare or Poe. Someone needs to reach him and promote the Halloween Show like it deserves if for no other reason than to save his show.

Was anything real on the shows or just late night entertainment for the bored?
I read somewhere the old ouija board Art won't talk about was sent by a witch after telling Art things no one could possibly know.
It led to the death of a family member the next day and is why he won't even discuss it.

Anyone remember the Art Bell cruises I've heard referenced? Where all did they go and what did they do on the trips?
