Idk, there is an audience/demographic/generation where victimhood, safe spaces, and melt-downs are a badge of honor.
Spot on.

Screw that, someone should dominate and get that Indian food or just say "we are turning around and eating at home." Tooomeric is in Indian food.
Agreed.  I went on a class trip with 2 other colleagues who couldn't decide what to do with the kiddies in different situations until I finally took command and steered the group...and yes, we did have a good time.

But your parents or grandparents weren't trying to get government grants or corporate vacations for their expertise on basic thoughts.
...and with a new catchphrase to boot.  Lol.

Yeah, I've been in some of these companies who try this this stuff. "Open offices" input from whatever etc but it is, basically, bs. Protect the Queen. And "hive" making decisions bad because of the pressure of multiple levels of hierarchy and etc.
Yep....and the one independent minded individual who dares to stand out, and point out the bs is the one that gets harassed and/or fired.

So, what he is saying is that it is good to get different opinions about an issue or problem, and then make a sound decision from all the different perspectives.  This is not unlike what we've learned from our parents and grandparents about asking questions and opinions from others in order to make the best decisions possible.  This isn't anything new. :P

Bingo...he just said it.  Bees swarm for survival.  Not necessarily a sign of higher intelligence, but what they were designed for.  Duh.
#7
Nonsense.  Mine that Bird was a 50-1 longshot in 2009 and won the derby.  Tell me that "swarm intelligence" would have worked out that result. :o

Birds and fish are very simple animals and exist for only one purpose -  to continue their species and die.  This dude wants to lump humans into the same mix.  Unreal.
#9
Kumbaya..............wow, Heather!

Wrong, Heather.  Animals do kill their own sometimes.  What do animals do to the members of their species that are born weaker than others?  Humans don't do that.  We try to save the weaker members of our species.

Hmmmmm....in other words he means "team work"?  "Networking"?  Dude is trying to re-invent the wheel with a new catchphrase.

Should'nt this thread be entitled, "Josef Stalin or Adolf Hitler".  Either way, this country is screwed.

"...laughing their etheral tails off"  ?    I think she meant ethereal, dunno.

All that aside, wondering if there's Nitrous Oxide escaping into the studio tonight.
Another "make-believe" story made up by the "make-believe" radio host.  She didn't describe her story too well, either.  If she's going to put herself out there, she might as well try to sound convincing.

Gene Scott was great, and these pony girls (I only skimmed) just make him that much greater.
I remember watching him on some old infomercials.  He would glare into the camera and demand money from people who supposedly owed him really large donations ("You know who you are!" - snarl).  The rest of the infomercial would show him in a Hawaiian shirt, chomping on a cigar, spouting nonsense and watching dog races.  Craziest stuff I'd ever seen, but mesmerizing.  He was quite a character.

Doubtless Crane has went downhill in the last few years, as has everything else, but their high end offerings in the early 2000s were great.
Still have my Baygen Solar/Crank Radio from the Y2K days.

Art, I hope all the ABs are doing well. I miss you, brother, but I understand how things are. I think you should at least  do a weekly audio blog or something. Just tell us what you think about things, or spin a little tale about your amazing career. Please think about it.

God bless you and your wonderful family.

Agreed.  Art can talk about anything and make it interesting.  Hopefully, he can do a once or twice a month podcast just to share his thoughts about things.

But she said she read it on the internet.
She also said she got the info from some local reporter there last summer....hmmmmm.

Heather falsely spreading death rumors!
Heather got schooled big time on that flub.  Lesson?  Don't say anything unless you're absolutely certain it's true.  Her backpeddling was especially amusing.
