I haven't listened in months....has HW improved? I'd like to listen to Stanton. Last time I tried to listen, I immediately had to quit...still didn't like her voice and style. Thoughts?

How can she learn to not talk so much? A quick thought, okay, but to go on and on...I don't think it should be about what she thinks. Almost know more about what she thinks in a few months than what Art thought in 25 plus years.

Yup...sad...even if different hosts were auditioned on air for a few weeks would have been more compelling. Then decisions could have been made based on feedback. As it is, we are stuck...until we leave, which I will do as soon as i get my past AB shows downloaded.

A smart person, though, will listen to the criticism, think about it, and if possible, act to improve on their weaknesses.  People throwing about support for someone who is not ready are not doing her a favor.  All the fawning and platitudes just mask the real problems.   If Heather is a bright person -- and I suspect she is -- she will pay more attention to the people telling her what she is doing wrong than the ones who are just saying she's great or whatever when she isn't there yet.  Unless there are enough of the latter to keep the show on the air, I suppose.  I doubt it.

I think there are enough folks telling her  how great she's  doing...not helpful. Art, himself, deleted constructive comments I made ... hence the overwhelming degree of apparent support. Same thing happened on another FB page...too much *criticism* and ZAP...your comment and/or thread is deleted!

Funny thing is Art gave Alex his fame -- years ago Alex wasn't as wacky as he has become over the last 10 years...I used to like him a lot -- now he's just scary. I actually think that 'someone' or 'something' has taken over Alex Jones and he is the government plant...and doesn't even know it...

Yes, Art Bell -- I think you are too close to yourself -- you cannot see what we, that love you, feel for your broadcast abilities and why we are disappointed in the fill-in..no one can or will ever hold a candle to your abilities. It was your personality, curiosity and skill in listening and responding appropriately (having a conversation). None of these skills are learned, they are innate and HW doesn't appear to have them...hence our disappointment. Maybe it would have been better to just leave and not try to 'continue the legacy.'

Everybody has critics, I had lots of them. I do not agree with her critics, I listen and love her style. There are some I guess who don't like a Woman on the radio or don't like her because she is not me. If you have not heard her in a while take a listen, I think she is doing a great job but as I said we all have critics.

Wish the show great success, and respect Heather Wade, but simply could not stay subscribing or enjoy show as it is presently. If you were on 12x a month, I would resubscrbe. Then I said: Agreed she is doing something she's never done, nor been trained to do...that's why she shouldn't waste our time trying to do it. I have a very difficult time listening to her (as I do the other guy)...I'm frustrated by anyone who isn't connected to the guest AND talks about themselves rather than letting the guest speak. Yup - Disillusioning is right! I'm actually really heartbroken that he will stand up for this 'intruder' like he is...he's blind...I'm wondering what their relationship really is? It's weirder than weird, if you ask me. I truly loved that man...and missed him many, many times...now...I don't know how I feel.

I literally just got censored by Art Bell on his Facebook Page. So did someone else who said that she doesn't listen anymore. I am absolutely crushed. Censoring free speech on FB feels so wrong...I know it's HIS FB page, but really? I don't dislike her or anything, but she is just simply not what I signed up for. Tonight in just the first 30 minutes she praised Donald Trump twice and belittled Bernie Sanders once. But, really, that's just the surface annoyance. I haven't gone back to check but I can only assume that Heather, like the loathsome George Noory, is a climate change denialist as well as a Trump supporter. This is definitely not what I hoped MITD would be.

The logical answer would be to extend the program to Saturdays and have Art handle that night every week. He could spend all week with family, do one show, then sleep in and enjoy his Sunday with family once more. Plus, there's a big demand for live radio content on the weekend that isn't about gardening or fishing.

I think most people who unsubscribed (myself included), would re-up just for that, and at the current price it would still be a good value for the week's worth of content (even the trainwreck John Titor type episodes).

The people need to be thrown a bone if you want them to support your endeavor. It's not rocket science.

Do you actually think Art listens to this? Can't he hear how bad it gets? I know he used to read this stuff here too -- does he think it's not constructive to see that 5 hours is a terrible idea. It should have been cut to two -- if not cut out all together.  Maybe he's shielded somehow.  If he tuned in to any other network and listened to the same thing, he'd turn it off...he's too good to not hear how bad this is.

I think it's cuz she doesn't have any clue how to conduct an interview. I really didn't think it could get worse than snorey...I listened to a show of his over the weekend and actually thought, 'he's better than HW.' I NEVER thought I'd think that...Oh my goodness!
