Reading Flakie's constant bitching for a month or so finally end with "Well, I have to go into surgery tomorrow" was the summer of my youth. "Aha! Flakie's swirling the drain this time!" I said to myself. "There's no way he'll make it through this one!" For a few weeks there, I was walking on sunshine until the bastard State of California stepped in and scraped out the contents of his head and filled it with candy like a pinata.
