Streamlink cancelled. I've been a member for years but I just can't abide this stupid man any longer. He's like the layman's layman. He has an unbelievable ability of somehow completely GETTING IN THE WAY of an interview. So many times I've been listening to a guest and hoping Gee-orge wouldn't ruin the flow by injecting some inane, stupid-ass comment; yet he does it ALL THE TIME. The best interviews on C2C are where the guest steers the conversation themselves... on talk radio this is NOT how it's meant to work.
All (and I mean all) the other hosts on C2C are better than him... I even enjoyed Katherine Albrecht at Christmas. He's attracted an audience of imbeciles over the last few years, just listen to the callers these days.
He's not engaged and he's not ENGAGING. I have nothing against him as a person per-se, but he should have quit this gig ages ago. He's burnt out with it. The only time I've heard him get enthusiastic about something is when he's speaking about a pedestrian topic unrelated to the paranormal.
I've just recently started listening to a podcast called Mysterious Universe (far superior to this pap) and noticed that even though the hosts are ENGAGING and GREAT I kept kind of 'zoning out' while listening. It was kind of frustrating then I realised why - I've been listening to George for so long I've become a passive and unengaged listener as sometimes C2C only served as background noise and more often than not I would fall asleep listening to this shit. In short the current C2C's greatest strength is as a sleep remedy and should be marketed as such.
