Actually it is big news, we have been content over the last two Months to run our Internet show as is but this move opens the door wide to Radio Stations to pick up the show which is what they have been asking for. It means we come in on the same receiver as every other National show starting Oct 1st.

We also started a Advertising campaign today that will run for a Month on Social Media. We would like to combine this with people calling their local program Manager and requesting the show. The XDS Satallite people will also promo it to the Radio Stations.

Art

P.S. Any help from Bell Gab in making those calls would be great!

Art you should instruct (or request) one of us minions (or your staff) to compile a list of radio stations that are not carrying C2C and would be good options to send facebook messages, calls or e-mails.

If people don't get how BIG of a deal this is, well that's just on them.

I however am beyond happy. I feel like dancing on the ceiling. This is great news.

You guys kept him fighting the good fight for the last couple of years... give yourself some credit. It is so great to know Art won this battle in the end with those idiots at Sirius. There is no one like Art and there never will be again.

Everyone is really hard on Noory but to be fair, how the hell do you follow an act like Art Bell? (Before you guys start jumping on me...I know he's a corporate whore, ok? But I also don't think he had much of a choice.)

For me it's like seeing the little guy beat the big corporation - that's a good feeling. Today everyone who follows Art won.

They're gonna need some sedatives over at Premiere today. Will Hoagland be on the feed too?

Not to sound like a conspiracy idiot... (I will though...) is Skype still down? It was the first thing that went through my mind when I saw the Skype news but I have an overactive imagination. Do people Skype Noory on air? I have not listened to him in so long I don't know.

I said some may be shocked, and they will. Some thought we were only "only a "small Internet Show"
Those people will be shocked and not very happy at all.

Art

I could not be happier for your commitment to continue broadcasting, best news ever!

I sent messages to a couple of the "non christian" radio stations here. I live in one of the "Bible Buckle's" of the Rust Belt. About 65% of the radio stations within 60 miles of here are Christian Broadcasting establishments. (many of them quite fundamentalist in nature) A lot of the faithful believe the paranormal is some kind of witchcraft or something.

I was going through the list of stations here saying to myself.... "No, I don't think I better talk to them..... hmmmm nope, no, that one wont work.... wow... OMG... they are mostly .... eeek! How did this happen?"

Any mouse worthy of a cat's chop know that this is an edgy decision.  It is ahead or on the curve of a new way to go forward.  Great decision Art and staff!  Compare 615 to 4000.  Now who is ahead?

I was just doing some research on XDS....hmmm...

Yeah, why would he apologize for this announcement?  There has to be more to it than that.  I'm sure tonight he'll let us know...or he'll tease it again for next week. :D

I'm wondering about this too. Here we go again speculation. ( I never do that) ... oh what the hell...why not....

What if he thinks people will be angry because the listening audience will increase exponentially thereby making our concerns insignificant? What if he just thinks the people at C2C will be angry? What if Donald Trump stops running and says he was just running so he could say crappy things to people who irritate him on a live broadcast everyone would be listening to? ...I wouldn't put it past that guy.

That's a very good question, thus potential anger.

Glad no one here overreacted during the weekend  ;)

Did you see anyone over react? I didn't see anyone over react. And zero speculation. I was really proud of these guys.

Here's a guess: Art is going to 'friend' the first 5,000 Time Travelers on his personal Facebok page. That would, indeed, be shocking for some and would, most certainly, make a lot of others mad...

Prosecuting CC theft has never been an item done properly well by the police and the costs are just passed down to the customers so bank don't, really, care. It seems that some, screaming and dragging, are moving towards a more secure system like most European countries had for years now though. Busting a individual or criminal racket doing whole-sale theft will be done, sometimes, but the small stuff. Nope. But, heck, these days police won't often investigate simply theft (just give you a form for insurance companies or legal liability- say if your gun was stolen) unless a robbery or aggravated in some way.
ps: don't use Google or the mainstream search engines and if really concern use a VPN and Tor (though slower and the use of such for legal purposes, by itself, might raise "flags" somewhere.) Disable all location stuff in your smart phone and remove SIM card and battery when you don't need to use it. Store anything like passports, CC, etc also in foil or some similar farraday cage as they can be read. Don't use CC but prepaid CCs and burner cellphones paid with cash that has non-sequential serial numbers, withdrawn in small transactions, cleaned through petty transactions, or earned by "off the grid" transactions (swap meets, garage sales, farmers markets, etc) and wiped of all your fingerprints. Wear a hat, ideally something like a cowboy hat (if in an area this would not draw suspicion.) Grow facial hair but frequently change it. Same with regular hair (color, length, etc.) Change your gait by putting pebbles in your shoes and wearing different types of footware. Also, never look up also (satellites and CCTV everywhere.)
Yep, the can see a fly that landed on my head with a satellite now, so why should I worry? Yes, perhaps an asteroid is in order.

Haha. The government is notorious for bad security. I'm still getting letters from OPM about data breaches because my dad once, many decades ago, worked for them when I was a child! Imagine once the hackers get into the Obamacare healthcare database or, as they have done, into the military's. And there are national security risks also with all the data-mining, social networking, databases, and information sharing/selling (even when legal.) But each to their own.

If you even google some things you get ads and emails already. That train left the station about 4 years ago. My son has money he pays the $6.00 a month to protect his identity. We had a card get hit about 6 months ago, a cop came over and told me the theft on CC numbers is so bad the banks don't even prosecute anymore, even if they know exactly who stole it.

There is a line that is crossed occasionally, and it is my duty to point this out.

I am not taking lectures from (with respect) bloody Americans on how to speak English. The clue is in the name. 'Eng-lish', meaning derived from the ancient tribe called the Angles, from the British Isles. In other words, we are descended from Angels, and you're not.

You Yanks just borrow it, we invented it! That means whatever I say is automatically correct.

My goodness! You are in a bit of mood this day?

For the record, you all talk way too crappy to each other. My ex-brother in law couldn't even keep up with you guys and he is the biggest recorded dick on planet earth. Peace be with you! I insist!

True, my issue with it is it is 'fake' and likely instead of connecting people further distances them because they won't actually get together or even talk on phone but txt, FB, twitter; some of which mediums doesn't even allow enough words for complex discussion. And even if you report all your income there are other reasons, besides the obvious moral or principle one, that you don't want government to have all information on you. Even IF the government was a totally benign thing they have a long history of being hacked. Then you have all the problems of identity theft, fraud, perverts, etc gaining information on you and your family.

But the thieves and perverts would have to get that information from the government. No one would steal my identity, trust me on this one.

Thanks to facebook tracking everything, they will easily know your name and all kinds of personal information still.
And if you use a smartphone then it will most likely even send your location directly to their servers.

It really doesn't matter, I do report all my income. There's just some trouble in life that is not worth having.

I was just sharing one of my worst nightmares short of Art retiring.  I would not last one second on social media, Facebook, either.  I have to be real, have a real person name.  I suppose I could be Minnie Mouse.

Coast has a model like that.  They post on Facebook, it spun off that.

There are the words hate and shock in some of the cryptic messages.  This would be something I would hate, and it would shock me if it happened.

You should have no fear of this, I haven't had a real name or location on facebook in 7 years.

Monday's live thread is going to read like a support group meeting.

You say this as if you know something bad is going to happen?

What if MV is really just in Germany waiting for Octoberfest? What if the price of oil was 9.00 a barrel? What if all the cat video's are just to desensitize us so we don't freak out when all the aliens look like cats?

I would be so happy if he would start that show at 9:00 PM EST I would jump off my back porch into a snow drift.
