Arts guests have pretty much sucked so far

There have been a few standouts so far. I liked the guy who built robots to help him find ghosts and bigfoot (Albert taylor i think). I liked Michio Kaku. I liked Seth Shostak.

But the best show so far IMO was open lines.

In case anyone didn't know, they're talking about Marijuana.

got home from work late. Just started listening to tonight's show. Listening to the first call now!

Art keeps bringing up the fact that he's seen trucks shipping nuclear waste in his area.

That's creepy.

It sounds like the beginning of an X Files Episode.

I know we're in the middle of a fine show right now... but I can't stop thinking about how PUMPED I am for OPEN LINES tomorrow!!!!

There is a serious disconnect with the sense called humor in this chat.  I don't want to log in here later and see that one of you killed another.  So on that note for fear of my life, I bid you Roswells!

welcome to the internet!!

the guy who started spacex would be a good guest

One more thing I forgot.  It's not the 90's.  MV probably wasn't even born yet.  Bell Gabbers were a twinkle in a talk host's eyes.  But it's here now and unless it goes away the jibber jabber will surely jab on. So jab on you vaguely lovable rogues!

Pretty sure he was born since he's 33 according to his profile.  ;)

the 90s wasn't that long ago

Dark Matter is awesome and it's only getting better every day.

Tonight was the one show I was most looking forward to.  And it was shit.  I'm not having good feelings about the future of Dark Matter.

I've been looking forward to open lines, personally. Can't wait, in fact.

Also, the fukushima episode might be interesting.

You guys think Art will ever go over 4 hours? I'm starting to think no.

I just can't wait for the proper open lines night!

I guarantee that will be the best episode of Dark Matter to date.

Can we refer to this guy as chucklefuck?

I missed Eddie's call; what did he ask and what was the answer?

he asked why chumpy wonka is such a fraud, and then chumabawamba killed himself on the air.

the remainder of the show has consisted of an EVP of chunka's ghost answering art's questions

Well that was fun!
I stumbled a bit at the top. I hope my voice didn't sound to nervous.
I could have talked to them for the rest of the hour!

You did well.

Got to say, I've been thoroughly entertained by tonight's show. That said, I'm a pretty firm skeptic so when I listen to Art I'm just looking for a good yarn.

Chunga needs to take it down a notch though...

I'm the same way

I'm a bit behind, but monitoring the FM or AM band?   Jesus Christ.. can't they see the stupidity there?  Art should have called them more on that.

Lol, so true.

He kind of did for a few seconds. He said something to the effect of "Wouldn't that mean you would pick up regular am and fm stations?" and they were like "Well we've heard cuss words so uhhhH"

flimsy

No mention of him in a newspaper article on the group from that area (accessed from a 2005 snapshot of their website).  This guy is a liar, plain and simple.

Which would make Brendan a liar by association.
#29
Eddie you should have addressed Chumbawamba as "Brett Smith"

Haha the first caller is from bellgab. that's great. Good job eddie
