Art, if you're reading this, can you sign my "I Know Who Killed Me" poster and can I get a refund on my Ed Dames Remote Viewing box set? 14 years I've spent staring at the wall, and yet I'm still unable to peep into windows at the Playboy Mansion. Like promised.

Now that was a good one! Art may have spit up his coffee on that one!  ;)

Well it's been a long time since I've posted here! Been practicing voyerism! Not really!

Just want to say I don't give 2 shits what others think, but Im glad Art is coming back!

C2C just sucks anymore! Except for a very few guests it's terrible! Snoory has more bullshit than Carter has peanuts! His motto is " If you can't dazzle them with brillance, then baffle them with Bullshit!" And Snoory has a ton of it!

When Art did dreamland it was awesome! Now it also is shit! Whitley's is a wack job & hope he stays away! George Knapp would be great!

I hope he stays with the paranormal scene! It was great when at times call ins would report a live sighting & Art would track it live with others calling in their sightings across the states or from where ever!

On an interesting topic Snorry cuts people off as his only interest appears to be how many calls he takes. Art would dedicate the time the topic dictated.

Looking forward to your reurn Art! I for one wanna take a ride for as long as you can navigate!

dabrain... can you have more than one roku box on a single netflix account?

Check out my last post above. For some reason it didn't quote right but I did answer ya!

so do you mean you can hook multiple roku players up to a single netflix account?  or do you have to have separate netflix accounts for each player?

How it works with Netflix is that you can have as many Roku boxes as disks that you subscribe to. I get 3 discs at a time so I can have up to 3 Roku's under my one account--)))

Recently I upped my DSL speed here to 7.1 MB which is good for my area. I have streamed both boxes in HDTV and surfed the web with no problem.

let's just say that the new channels are free, and i think they're free for a reason.  heh heh.  actually, some of the new channels are ok, but then some really blow mule shaft.

Yeah my favorite is Twit TV with Leo Laport and Mac Weekly. Give it time they just started out. As of right now the box we currently have can do  about 150 channels.

Quote
agreed.  i REALLY wish roku could start a hulu channel.  i don't think that's going to happen, though... especially if hulu goes behind a pay wall as is rumored to be happening next year.  if that DOES happen, hulu will become but a faint memory to me.  i will cease to care.

Yeah I agree and don't see hulu happening!

Oh boy.  I'm what could be called "excited" about the imminent delivery of my Roku NetFlix player.  What does this thing do?  How does it work?

You sign up for the $8.99 NetFlix account which gets you one DVD shipped to your home per month.  Big deal.  However, there's more.  So much more.

This $8.99 package gets you unlimited streaming of over 12,000 NetFlix titles to your computer.  The Roku player is a small black box which hooks up to your internet connection, enabling you INSTEAD to stream these 12,000+ NetFlix videos to your tv.  Some of the videos are in HD, some arent.  One thing constant is that you will get AT LEAST DVD QUALITY all the time if your connection is fast enough.

On the Trainwreck radio show I've mentioned from time to time my desire to completely render the cable company irrelevant in my live with the exception of the bits they sell me over their Internet connection.  I've finally found my solution.  And when Roku marries together with Hulu within the next year?  Forget it.

As you were.

Hey Mike, Glad to see you have a replacement website up! And Thanks for continuing the streaming of Art! I listen to it ever day on my Grace Internet Radio. Love it!

Oh yeah and the reason IM replying here is the Roku!--)))) I just Love it also! Got one of the first one's out and been beta testing every feature they have added!--))) Now I have 2 Roku's and a third on the way, so each TV in my house has one!

What do you think of the new channels added? IM looking forward to the rumored high profile channels to be added down the road and then DTV can kiss my ass! I can't wait to drop them. I been wanting Ala Carte programming for eons and looks like there's a good chance we will have that in the next year or 2!

Anyways, enjoy your Roku and Glad to see you back here!

PS Did ya ever sell the GNSucks site?

Honestly, I think it may be the end of C2C as we know it. If not, I hope Noory gets his ass kicked out the door. Radio itself, as we know, is changing. I don't know how talk radio is fairing in your parts, but its pretty much being regulated to A.M. around here. Hell, even the majority of radio stations are becoming a thing of the past save a few dinosaurs that refuse to die. Every station I used to listen to has been taken off the air or completely reformatted to some godawful monstrosity of either hip hop, Spanish, country or religious in the last two or three years. There are no oldies stations, and only one classic rock which is slowly beginning to incorporate modern B.S. The only thing I still listen to at all is Car Talk and Wait Wait Don't Tell me, with the occasional N.P.R. news cycle. We have a decent local talk radio station, but half of the time they are doing a live broadcast from some terrible local business which results in 40 minutes of a 50 minute show talking about the product they are pushing.

I am considering forking out a couple hundred dollars on a shortwave to listen to some of the Euro channels. I have tried podcasts but it doesn't feel the same. Even if I couldn't pick up and intelligible channel at least I could entertain myself looking for numbers stations.

You should give an Internet Radio a shot. I bought a Grace 1000 last Oct and LOVE it. This particular Radio requires a wireless access point/router. There are others that have a jack for Ethernet connections. I been in Electronics for 35 years and have had my fair share of shortwave radios. Internet Radio is far better and no fading. Do some research, you wont regret it. I also highly reccamend an Internet Radio that uses the Reciva portal. Just a thought!

According to the website, Art will -not- be on this Friday due to "engineering problems in Manila." Why is Art back in Manila?

Some dude named Richard Syrett (sp?) is gonna host.

He's probably visiting wife's relatives and staying in his condo. They seem to have a lot of problems broadcasting the show from there!

I have no idea who this new guy is?????

I take it too that George Knapp is a television jounalist first and a radio broadcaster second.  Just look at him and you can see that he has the looks of an excellent telvesion journalist.  He makes me hot for the story!

Yes George Knapp is a real good TV news investigator/reporter! I first saw him on TV when I had just moved to Vegas and he was doing a series all week long on UFO's with an in depth interview with John Lear. As I was real active for many years in the UFO field due to let's just say a Very Close Up sighting over Lake Ontario with a friend back in 1976, I decided to call George Knapp up at the TV studio. I got through to George and with a little help I was able to contact John Lear. That night I visited John Lear at his home and discussed the UFO topic with him.

George Knapp is very active in the TV arena and it's his main source of his bread and butter and I have no doubt that he just doesn't have time to do more C2C radio. I know he would if he could.  ;)

Michael, it also looks like something killed the Art Bell Radio show also. Up until today it was working great on my Grace Internet Radio, but today it won't connect which indicates either the feed was pulled or there's a problem some wheres!

Im keeping my fingers crossed that it comes back on soon. I just can't take listening to Snorry any more! He's getting worse and worse.

Perhaps we should start an emailing campaign over a period of months emailing premier and asking them for a full time replacement for this arrogant asshole? And Im being nice when I say that! It would take a full page of adjectives for how I feel about this guy.

He takes credit for over 500 stations that he's on! Hell, I like to see him start from scratch like Art did and see how many stations would carry his crappy show!  ;:)

Here we go, Everytime Art comes back on, its like Jesus has returned.

Yeah well Thank God! The Snoory show has become Shitsville.

Say Michael, what happened to the Art Bell Radio feed? I went to listen today on my Grace internet radio and no go! I hope it comes back on soon! I'd rather listen to the old Art Bell Shows any day than Noory's Bullshit.

His guests lately are just crap and how many times can we listen to that guy that says the same shit over and over and over about the deaths of Buddy Holly, Jim Morrison, Elvis etc......

I have to laugh when listening to George Knapp taking calls and people pleaing with him to do all the weekends and even take over for Snoory! People are really getting sick of Noory!

Sorry about that #1 GeorgeSnoory Fan! But the Truth is the Truth! --))))  ;)

Hello Everyone,

Glad I found a place where I can vent re: coast to cost ad what it's become!--)))

I have read various posts here which prompted me to register to this forum.

First I would like to thank Michael for the Art Bell 24/7 feed. I listen all the time on my Grace Internet radio which IM addicted to.--)))

Michael any chance you can dig up Art's old Dreamland shows?

Now as far as Noory goes IMHO this guy just sucks! He has single handily run the show into the depths of shitsville!

I long for the days for someone like Art Bell who didn't screen calls and took live call ins of persons and on going UFO sightings. Now that was interesting and entertaining!

I have noticed numerous times people called in that were actually observing a UFO while they were on line with meester snoory and that asshole would just cut them off and take the next call.  He seems to love mindless trivial bullshit. The core of this show use to surround UFO's and the Paranormal now it's about selling books and George Snorry placing himself on his egotistical toadstool!

Then there's Ian and his religious crap! He seems to have a philosophy that he's always right. Personally I can't stand him either. A real piece of human excrement!

George Knapp should be the man for this program. Unfortunately, his day job at a Las Vegas TV station keeps him pretty busy. Yet he conduct the best coast to coast show other than Art!

I have listened to Art's shows from the early 90's when I lived in Nevada not to far from Pahrump, Art's home town. His weekend show Dreamland was awesome! However since Whitley took over it also has turned to crap most of the time. I have visited the Little Alien Inn and been on the Tonopah Test Range. Man I miss those days!

Anyways I could ramble on and on but  I'll save you the duress!--)))

Here's hoping to someday and someday soon we will have another host or a competitive show that truly resembles Art's style and UFO/Paranormal coverage.

Nice to meet you all!
