Radio and Podcasts / Re: Dark Matter Network Content

This venture is going to fail anyway.  Podcasts are meant to be on demand not streamed on a website.

First Half: Author and adventurer Robert Young Pelton discusses modern warfare and security issues, current areas of turmoil, and his Expedition Kony project.

2nd Half: Best-selling author Erich von Däniken addresses his latest work on mysterious underground complexes, geometrically aligned stone circles, and the pyramids of Egypt.

Sounds like this could be another classic C2C!  Thank you Mr. Noory for providing FREE entertainment for all of us loyal fans.

Congrats George! You are still the the undisputed king of paranormal radio with another TKO!!

Also thanks for actually being there every night, taking care of your kids,  not taking your wife camping ( :-X), and not marrying a teenager, and not breaking if off into your fans.

Radio and Podcasts / Re: Art Bell Quits Dark Matter

Well at least most of you folks snapped out of your cult like devotion to Art.  This place was pretty scary for a while.

Art's new show was half assed anyway, same guests same topics as 15 years ago only replace a radio pro with great questions with a bitter old curmudgeon who's time has clearly passed him by.

How many shows were cancelled during the six weeks Art was back?  I know of two, was there more?  Didn't the mysterious "back pain" come back?    8)

Wasn't one of the reasons Art came back was because he was accused of being a serial retiree?  Way to show 'em Art!  :)

I don't think Noory is that terrible. I found this forum while searching for people who thought LMH was terrible and boring.   I am 26 years old so I didn't listen to Art during his run but going back and listening to the "classic" shows I am just not that impressed.  Art played softball with almost every guest he had on.  I was listening to the Mel's Hole shows and you could tell that the guy was full of it from the get go.  If George had something like that on the air you guys would crap all over it.  George gets crap for promoting frauds and deservedly so but lets not pretend like Art's hands are clean.  Hall-Bopp UFO, Alien in the freezer, John Lear, Y2K, alien autopsy, Mel's hole, Hoagland, Steiber, etc all complete bull crap.

The main difference I could tell between Art's 1990's shows and current C2C is that Art's shows felt more organic as far as flow and format go but this is of course the work of PremRat as Art's later shows were as terrible as the current C2C shows.

I will say that Art seemed a lot better prepared for his interviews as far as a working knowledge of the subjects go but then again living in a double wide in the middle of no where does leave you with a lot of free time.

I know I will get killed for expressing a negative opinion of Art but I have a feeling most of you Art fans are so found of him because you listened to him when you were much younger and way more naive.  Listening to his old shows gives you a nostalgic feeling similar to those people who listen to 1980's music, not because it is good but because it reminds you of the good times in your life back then.  ;D

Anyone else not to psyched about having to pay 15.00 bucks a month to listen to proven frauds such as Hoagland, Steiber, and Reed?  I am sure Dames and co aren't to far behind.  ???

These liars may have worked for Art back in the Mid to late 90's because the internet wasn't widely available to prove these guests as frauds but now a days it just doesn't cut it.

The battle of the "Dark Matters" .  One with legendary radio host Art Bell and whose fan base will be measured in the millions, the other from the guy who used to run UFO mag and who has quite possibly dozens of listeners!

The shows supposed to be back sometime in August.  Norm needed time off to write a screen play I think is the reason they gave for the stoppage.

Quote from: VtaGeezer on July 14, 2013, 09:42:16 AM
Wells is a career hired voice, period.  His public "opinions" are bought and paid-for. He had notable experience in neither talk radio nor interviews before PNR installed him in one of the top national talk radio slots on Saturday Night C2C. His frequent dead air periods and laconic uhhs make it clear that he's working from a sparse content-specific script prepared each week by writers to guide listeners along a defined ideological path. Since Obama's election, Noory's also been scripted with similar far-right drek but in lower level doses for the pathetic saps whom he attracted with New Age crap after Bell's influence was finally cut off.

The conspiracy you'll never hear about from Wells or Noory is the cabal of rightwing media giants filtering the information and news they convey to working class people who get virtually all their news via talk radio at work or on the road. As for Wells' Geiger-counter sales; its all part of the contrived production intended to reinforce dire threats to hard-working Americans from their sinister government now in the hands of you-know-who. In 1938, another Well(e)s showed how effective this method is if done properly.

;D

Yes those damn right wing media giants with their AM radio programs misinforming almost 1% of the country!!!!

It's time we on the left do something about it!

I got an idea!! We need to gain control all the network news and programming as well as all the cable news channels (well except for one and then we will accuse them of being bias) and then we will take over all other aspects of entertainment including music, FM radio, movies, newspapers, and the internet!  Then WE can tell America the real truth!  Obama is great, the economy is fantastic, and the government loves us all and is in no way treating us like the enemy!!  ::)

John B Wells is a horrible host because he has no idea how to conduct a radio interview and also because he sucks.  It really has nothing to do with his politics, and I as I said in another thread C2C seems right wing right now because the democrats are in power.  How are they going to fill 4 hours a night on how the Republicans are going to round people up and put them into a FEMA camp when the republicans have no power?

Did any of you left wingers not listen to coast when it was nothing but shows about how Bush was the mastermind behind 9-11, caused Hurricane Katrina, was a reptile member of the NWO?!?!?!?!  Remember how George Noory was talking about how he was ready for a "Change" in 2008 and how all those UFO guys proclaimed Obama would be the "disclosure President" if he was elected.  Was that all apart of those right wing media giants secret double probation plan to purposely loose the election so they could turn C2C right wing? Those bastards!

As far as gun control and global warming issues and other issues they present  I actually think it's good to see other points of view on the subjects. Because anyone with the smallest amount of critical thinking abilities can see that these issues are not cut and dry and there is no right answer at the moment.  We are living in a state controlled media society where decent is not allowed and the only view point allowed is by those that agree with the agenda set forth by those in power. And what is considered right or true right now will change at some point in the next 10 years.  Remember all of those network news anchors bemoaning the war in Iraq had a larger role in misleading the American people then George W Bush did.

Politics / Re: Zimmerman Riots?
July 14, 2013, 11:48:52 AM
Great, the NAACP and Harry Reid are begging for the DOJ to get involved and charge Zimmerman with a civil rights crime.   I am sure the DOJ will get involved to satisfy their base but what will it prove?

If the "leaders" of the black community are so concerned about protecting black kids then please go to the inner cities and protect the scores of black children that are murdered every day. Why doesn't this happen?  Is it because their lives are  not as important as Trayvons' or is it because there is no money or fame involved with those cases?

As a member of the extreme right wing I feel C2C's is just for the shut-ins, mentally handicapped, and bored night shift workers of the world.  ;D

If you go back to the Bush years I think you will find a fair amount of anti-Bush/Republican shows and conspiracies but that is how conspiracy theory works.  You can't really fabricate a good conspiracy theory about how the party that's not in power is going to secretly destroy America and put you into a FEMA camp.
