PremRat doesn't seem to be any more concerned with attendance than they are with performance.  No wonder Jorch won't retire.  He's already retired on the job.
I agree, Ol’ George puts all his energy into all his other money-making performances, shameless self-promoting Snake Oil Salesman that he is. In his promo Tuesday night for his next theatre extravaganza, he had a Freudian slip, “. . . and after the show, we’ll have a Meat and Beat, uh, a Meet and Greet . . .” You’ll have to ask the “Insiders” if there’s an added fee or gratuity for that, IMO.

Here's the latest Norry conspiracy.  Normally, Norry is running around hither and yon to various events, but for the last three months he has passively been stationed in the Midwest.  The rumor is that Norry had "work" done, a complete face lift and hair transplants.  Three months time to heal and be presentable in person seems a through healing time.

He's back in Cali, ready to rock and roll!

I wonder if he got his eyes realigned, too. That would be the biggest improvement, IMO.

Wed Jan. 16, about twenty minutes after the first hour, the discussion was about aerial spraying of aluminum particulates, which drift down, and Noory had a brainstorm, “Yellow rain!” As the guest tried to come up with a reply, George persisted, “It’s what they call yellow rain, isn’t it?”

Lmao, the King of Malapropisms probably had the age-old yellow snow warning in mind, combined with the dreaded acid rain. To be on the safe side, I suppose one shouldn’t drink yellow rain, either.

I do wonder how J.C. has taken the news.  :P
You’ll have to ask George about that. A couple of weeks ago, some creepy imitation called in and it was a toss-up as to who was goofier, GN or “J.C.”.

"Now, Renee, when you were working at the . . .  and you saw them turn the other way, uh, turn their cheek the other way . . ."  Odd, isn't it, that someone claiming to have been raised Catholic has not  grasped the meaning of 'turning the other cheek'. I have previously heard Noory misuse the phrase from the Sermon on the Mount,  somehow confusing it with Admiral Nelson's insolent 'turning a blind eye', his confusion caused, I surmise, by the word in common, 'turn'.

Noory, 1:34, "... 'Dinah' Merrill is dead at 93. A lot of you won't know her name, but . . . Yaddah yaddah yaddah".
And, YOU, George? Her name is Dina Merril, pronounced Deena, not Dinah.
May I suggest a third option to the survey, "Can Noory pronounce anything correctly? 1. NO   2. NO      3. HELL NO

Georgie was such a momma's boy. I love when he tells stories about his childhood where he pictures himself as a young Copernicus or Thomas Edison with an insatiable curiosity about science and the natural world.
Momma's boy reminds me that he's noted on a few occasions that, although his mother's name is Georgia, he was NOT named after her. Do tell! As far as I know, he's never explained just exactly whose namesake he actually is, so I suspect his birth certificate may just read, Georgette, Georgina, or even Georgia Ann Noory, Junior.

...i'm already surprised georgie didn't forget the cliffhanger followup after the break....mind boggling!
That was a first, for sure, as guests usually have to do that on their own. That's another reason I think Quality Control has been put into play. Seems like Annie, Bill the Atheist, Cornelius, et al were once again not among the callers. Of course, Noory did start down the roster of noble accomplishments of friends and family (yawn), but stoically managed to leave out dear Aunt Shafica and her suspicious, untimely freaky death.

$5 says Annie from Alabamee has had a near death experience.
That should have been a safe bet, but something changed tonight, imo. I think someone set a fire under Noory's tail, and also the call screener's, too, and told him not to let the old regulars like Annie go on and on for five minutes with their life story. Being the hack that he is, he cut some interesting callers off crudely, and tried rephrasing whatever he thought their question might be, usually with his worn out standard cookie-cutter list. Could it be that upper management has finally realized what a loafer he is? Btw, I guaran-damn-tee that Annie has the wildest NDE of all, but she just got screened out, lol.

George has mentioned that he has been attempting to arrange an interview with Charles Manson. Undoubtedly, he will use his standard stack of question cards, which are probably getting a bit worn and coffee stained, of course, tweaking them a bit to suit the occasion. One of the first things he's sure to ask is, "Charlie, when did you first become fascinated with the idea of organizing some wacko mass murders?". What are some other Noorian-style queries we'll be treated to, if this meeting of the minds comes to pass?

Noorys NEW Book.......PRE - ORDERS being taken
That's the same thing I'm here for, Ted. I wonder who wrote it for him, as there's no coauthor given, an obvious error. The dude has such a limited vocabulary that I can't believe he's capable of writing a book unaided.

Like Walter Mitty Noory turns waiting by the side of the road for a hotel to send a man out to fix a flat tire on their van into an "action man" narrow escape. It really seems Jorch`s default setting is: LIE.
Walter Mitty, LMAO! You got him pegged. And, default setting - LIE. Hilarious!

As if it can't get any worse now (well I guess for sometime but I haven't listened as much) Norry has decided he is a hip AM radio sports announcer and so has to comment after every caller or guest's comment "that's an interesting take" "what is your take?" "Well, uh, after this break we will get your take" and "now it is part of the show where we get your take" and so on.
ps: he still cannot pronounce the common word "powerful," butchered it again last night I think with regard to the Yellowstone Caldera.
I,too, shudder at Noory's weird pronunciation of powerful, and theatre, as well. Last night, he added another head shaker in the first ten minutes of the second half hour with Ed Barnhart. He sounded like he was reading a note that Dan wrote him. Noory, "Wasn't ________ also revered ("revurred") as a god?" (Me, "WHAT?) Barnhart may have been having the same reaction, as there was a slightly delayed response. In the third or fourth sentence of his reply, he stated that so and so was indeed revered as a god, emphasizing revered! That was about 37 minutes past the hour. As if that wasn't a big enough offense, ten minutes or so later, he said something else, which I can't recall, that corrected ol' George. It was not in the least bit harsh, but I would be surprised if Ed Barnhart is ever invited back. When a caller asked a question, Ed started answering, at the same time GN started to chime in, and Ed pleasantly apologized, and asked what he wanted to say, and received a lame answer, of course. I think Barnhart figured out just the intelligence quotient he was dealing with, and was quite patient with the dope. I would kind of like to listen to it again, as there were probably more eye rollers in this interview.
George may be just the fellow to conduct an interview with a giant mantis head in space, IMO.

Lol creepy old Midwestern America In Thailand........wonder what he's doing there.
Not what he's doing, but whom he's doing. He opened by mentioning something about his young Thai lady friend.

Meanwhile, back to the thread's topic, Nooryisms, here are some little gems that I felt were worthy of documentation:
NOORYisms 2015

. . . We'll do two birds at one stone. 2:45
(probably from late January/Feb. 1. iPad automatically changes to the current date each time the note is revised.)

Feb. 2, Noory has a friend with health issues who "smokes like a fish".

Feb. 4- Wed. Night, Thurs morn
"Good luck with the papers, let's hope they're read by some peer reviewed scientists."

March 11
The people who surrounded themselves around him, were they . . .

Boy, I'd like to see the Akashic records, wouldn't you?

March 16
Was it controversial about his length of birth? (The Chinese man who lived 256 years)

April. 15-16    . . . Subsequently, before that. . .

May  11, '15    They're pretty good capitalists, aren't they, for theirselves!
(Yes, theirselves, and try typing that with autocorrect.)

May 18     Gosh, where's Jimmy Hoffa when you need him? Of course, we know where he is.

July 9.   . . . a rags from riches story

Referring to the caller, Peter, "we need more Peters out there spreading . . .   (Last hour, about 13-15 minutes in. Didn't here what those Peters were supposed to be spreading around, as I was lmao.)

I'll be drinking my usual -- water. Listening to C2C on a weeknight would be the time to get sloshed. I want all my senses unimpaired when listening to Art Bell.

Sorry, Grandma. I posted out of exasperation without first reading the message you had posted earlier. I"m definitely with you on the necessity to vent, and thankfully MV makes it possible.  :)

No apology necessary, you just coincidentally made the same observation I did. Thanks for backing me up. A couple of weeks ago, I actually went back through the bumper lists for the past few weeks, and, on the Norry shows, there have been 3 Cusco tunes played in the same time sequence. What I find odd is that Norry almost seems totally oblivious to music, even though he is said to sing at some of his appearances. Even as Bell songs is the current bumper 'theme', a previous, irritating one from about the first of the year was what I call the 'my baby's done left me lowdown, snot slingin', cryin' in my beer Blues', which consisted of numerous titles on each show. I even began to wish that his sweetheart would return to him.

sNoory's been playing a disproportionate number of Cusco tunes when he's busy wrecking C2C. Sometimes up to three songs a night. He's been doing this for weeks.

Yes, you have been paying attention. It has been 3 Cuscos a night. Scroll back up the last page and read my comment. I was on my way home when Some Velvet Morning came on. That sent me here to bellgab to vent!

It's sad, really, Dave has had a decade to make c2c his show. And now, he is still copying Art, even to spite Art. Dave continues to be a man with little talent and even less integrity.

Copying Art? He's not bright enough to even think of trying to do that, IMO. I may be wrong, but I think he is imitating Larry King. I rarely watched King, but I think I recall that he read his questions from a stack of index cards. It was very annoying when he didn't follow up on a guest's statement, but went on to the next card. Like Noory, King had a standard group of questions that he asked every guest.

Friggin davebots at c2c playing "Some Velvet Morning" on the nite Art announces the July 4th marketing roll-out.  Most uncool.
So, are you just now getting it? For the last month or so, they've been going hot and heavy on music that is so closely linked to Art. They have been playing 3 Cusco songs on every show George is on. If you make a list of the songs that you instantly associate with Art, they have been played at least twice in the last month. It's kind of like a dog pissing on everything to mark its territory. And before this 'piss on Art's music' theme, who knows what type of songs were being foisted upon long-suffering listeners? Was anyone paying attention?

I think George is slacking off because he's sick and has run out of turmeric and statins.
Perhaps, PaulAtreides, but I think he's using the time off to hone yet another of his many skills, painting. Just feast your eyes on little jewel that I found on the net.

So, SnapT, what did Art have to say? I'm here for the first time in months--I even logged in-- because of what I awoke to last night at about 3:15 am, EST. Noory was fumbling around, talking of Art's return. He droned on, hobbled by his limited vocabulary for a few minutes. I was stunned, and still don't know what brought that on. I dozed off again, and think he was discussing that again in the last part of the show with a caller. Then tonight on SIT,  I suppose one of the Noory sycophants scored mega brownie points by finding and getting on the air, the replay of the show where Art said, over and over and over, ( God help us!) "George gets it", until I thought I was going to puke. If you all didn't hear that, congratulations, it was humiliating.

That is what I was trying to say, in a roundabout way. Thanks for stating it right to the point, and using one of my personal favorite terms. Why don't you give John B. a "jingle', as he just said.
