Watched the first few, and loved it. decided to wait until all episodes are up, and am going to binge. i was hesitant, because i ADORE the original movies. Between the return of original actors to the new star wars, and now original evil dead, 2015 is what 1993 SHOULD have been ^^

i'll keep my subscription. People like Heather made it possible for our collective fantasies of Bell returning possible. Just because shit turns, and our dream goes *poof* doesn't detract from those who made all this real. i support this to the bitter, bitter end. And, hell... if something grows from it, all the better.  - wanna take a ride? christ the driver just jumped out with no warning. i want to watch where it all goes.

agreed, and this is where my worry and horror at all this creeps in. if Bell thinks just stopping, and laying low will fix it -IF it's happening, is fucking terrifying. I keep clinging to the hope it's a bad joke, and not the reality of some 70+ year old thinking it'll just end if he does as asked, and then just waltz back after the clouds disperse and all will be well... This is all so baffling.

It wouldn't, and won't. It would give him some time to get out of dodge, and relocate, let the stalker THINK he won, and go back to an empty place that is now patrolled.  And sadly, in today's world i agree with your question, even if he ...got out of dodge. How long before the stalker found you again?.... even if this is a bad, bad joke, the results are...rather catastrophic.

And just a thought. if  the situation is genuine, and as bad as is alluded to, then to just say "hey guys, no problem! i'll be back soon as i get this bug swept under the rug. but in the meantime, here's my fill-in" is dangerous.
IF its real and IF someone needs to be snared, what was done IS the right way to do it.
however , coming back and saying you never meant to go away forever, IF the situation is as bad as it COULD be, then that would cause the said stalker to be MORE dangerous.

seriously odd, as everyone has said, all the support, going terrestrial again, all the build up.

unless, as i said... he DID seem so sad noone bought that he was eating a lightbulb. this WOULD be the ultimate hungary bulb, and we ALL bought it.

i'm going to play the 2nd or 3rd show while at work tonight, and pretend this whole weekend has been a bad trip :totaldenial:

That said, i love his show, listen to it nightly. He does really, really awesome paranormal, and fortean shows. The rants, and occasional tears are... man, sometimes i feel like i'm 7 again in the circus, sitting in the freakshow tent with my parents, both amazed, and horrified, and wanting it to spiral FURTHER out.
He has his own thing, which is good. I can see him replacing C2C overnight, but not slipping into the chair of Bell.
I COULD see him doing fundraising to help keep the network afloat though.....

Unless this is the Lightbulb eating "prank" taken to the next level. He seemed so disheartened when people figured out he wasn't ACTUALLY eating a lightbulb. He has a very odd, and sometimes cruel impish sense of humor. i went into this knowing it would end one day, but this is just too odd. Or it's all real, and if so i support his decision 110%
