How did you listen to 1995 GtG shows? I've only seen little 5-minute segments culled from shows older than 3 years.

Specifically I don't remember but I have a pretty large collection.  All of my collection from 2008 to present I recorded myself using a CCWitness (am radio recording mp3 player). Everything earlier than that was either downloaded from collections I found online or transferred from cassette.

It may or may not help but if you have iTunes there was an Art Bell podcast up a year or so ago.  I think the guy uploaded something like 10-12 shows, but one of them was a 10 hr GtG compilation.  Not sure how much of it was from the '95 shows, though.

I just listened to the program where he mentioned the witch and the 'ancient' ouija board.  It was during the Ghost to Ghost 1995 show (1995-10-31), if you have it and want to take a listen. A caller tries to pry it out of him and he mentions a little more than he ever did.

I've always liked Coast to Coast AM but the last few years of the show have been driving me crazy. I've been listening since 1997, back when the show was fully interesting and engrossing. I know many people here hate Noory and where he's taken the show, and I always though you guys were mean-spirited about him, but the more I read the posts at this forum the more I agree with certain arguments you guys have.  Don't misunderstand, I like Noory, he seems like a great guy, and I usually like listening to his shows, but there are a few things that are REALLY bugging me.

The main problem I'm having with the show nowadays involves the open lines shows/segments.  Back in Art's day, I actually looked forward to an open lines show because for the most part callers had interesting things to talk about.  Now, with Noory it seems that just about every hour to half hour he takes calls from someone who is disabled or stricken with illness of some kind.  It wouldn't be as bad if the calls didn't take up a good ten minutes of airtime, and they always seem to be the same people.

I truly feel sorry for these people, but I don't necessarily want to hear about how they're blind and a charity won't give them money. I turn the show off when this happens and it's usually every open lines night.  I don't for the life of me remember hearing a show like this that Art hosted.  I'm not necessarily blaming Noory completely for this, but it seems that he allows it to continue.  It's kind of sad but I look forward to Ian's and Knapp's shows more often unless Noory has a really good guest lined up. Do you guys think I'm just being mean-spirited?
