It may be just me, but a few comments Art has made recently makes me think that he’s itching to go head to head with Dave. If so there’s only one way to do that: on terrestrial radio.

I get the same feeling.  He is a competitive man.

Art, let us all know where you found the fountain of youth!  I recall right before the show premiered in July, you were mentioning your age and expectations being too high. well, you may be 70, but you are as good as ever!  Noory thought you were winding down?  Hahahaha!

I haven't had any of the problems people here are talking about. Used, Safari, chrome, Firefox. Logged in on a Mac, pc, iPad, iPhone, kindle fire even and they all work.

How would one save individual files on an iPad?  When I hold my finger over DOWNLOAD, none of the options are to actually just download the files for future playback. It would just be nice to have the files to listen to, even if I am not in a location with wifi.

Art, loved your interview with Graham, last night!  Just like it was years ago...thinking all day about listening to your great shows at night.  Keep up the great work!

Has anyone else had luck downloading the files as a Time Travelers?  I can't get a download to initiate.

I haven't been able to download files yet, either.

Ok so that is the big news for Today, KXL which is a MONSTER station in the North West will carry the show but they will offset it by one Hour and it will be on 10pm-1am directly up against you know who...Portland is Top 25 U.S. Markets, really number 23.

Also CFRB 50KW Confirms Toronto, Canada. 1010AM

Laughed about the previously mentioned caller, saying hi to Dave.  Also, there must be just a handful of people calling anymore, which really says a lot about how many listeners must be left.  Somehow, Corny and the Amateur Astronomer get through seemingly every other show.  Also, a lot of callers mention how they getting through on the first try.

It's crazy that a few short weeks ago, it seemed this whole thing was up in the air.  I remember listening to that Gabcast, right after Art's uncertainty about the new show (bumper music issues).  And now...BAM!  What a night!  This is the start of a great weekend.  Enjoy it folks!

Haven't been this excited in a long time.  I remember first listening to Art in the mid-90s, when he was on top of the late-night ratings.  Looks like good times are coming back!

Hogue seems to have adopted, to some extent, the angry-bitter-defensive tone so common with Coast to Coast guests.

I noticed the same.

I was listening that night, and was shocked George didn't just dump the guest after the first hour he was on.  Not because the guest was bad, but because George was clueless.

I miss Art.  It is depressing to think we have to wait another year and a half.

Definitely a strange show.  The host was Noory, Jr., through and through.

We're a third of the way into February.  Has he been using Feb very much?

Yes.  I noticed the other night that he won't say Nuclear.  It's always Nuke.

It is my feeling that "they" want me kept off the air, ho hum, I will fool them by staying healthy and kicking
their ass as soon as I can get free.

George reiterated for the one millionth time that he's an "abiotic oil believer" for no reason other than to impress Jerome Corsi of Weird Nuts Diary.  My take on sNoory's belief is WHO F_CKING CARES? GET OVER YOUR SPECIAL SELF.  Thanks much and be safe everyone.

I always get a chuckle when people come on and essentially say the abiotic oil theory is shit, and George doesn't say a thing.  If you're going to push that theory all the time (like you came up with it), you better have the balls to defend it when somebody comes on and takes the opposite position.

Haha -- I really loved M.G. Michael's passion for the book of Revelations. He was sort of charming that way, albeit a little wacky. And for once I was silently praying for George to STOP. ASKING. QUESTIONS because the guy would be trying to answer one question (in a really long-winded way) and then George would throw him off course with another question, to the point where the poor guy had to make a list of George's questions. And ultimately I think he only answered one out of five.

At the end, George & Tommy were so frantic to get some callers in that everyone ended up talking like auctioneers. I kept wondering if Valdez was somewhere out there laughing like I was.

Meanwhile, the frenzied callers could not have been more CHOICE: A couple of cat ladies brandishing their Bibles, some nutty old guy who told George his "number was 182" or something and a stoner from Colorado who was trying to explain why Monster energy drink was Satanic, then asked George if he ever opened his third eye, to which George hastily answered "all the time" and hung up on him.

Meanwhile, I was like, "TELL US, DUDE! TELL US HOW TO OPEN OUR THIRD EYES!" but, alas, George cut him off.

The first two hours of the show were a waste. We should have had one hour of Revelations Guy and three hours of wackos with their 666 questions for him. Then it would have been perfection.

That is all.

The Third eye thing cracked me up.  I only caught the last half hour, but it was pure comedy.

Art, looking forward to what happens.  I was listening to the re-run with McAfee the other night (didn't hear it live) with a friend who hasn't heard you since your days with C2C.  She thought you sounded amazing, and thought it was a really interesting interview, as well as myself.

I know you hated being called the legend back in the day, or something such as that.  But you truly are the master, and am looking forward to more legendary interviews in the future!

Art lived and breathed Coast to Coast AM.  Not much else needs to be said.  It was his baby.  Art was well-prepared, vastly more knowledgeable, and was very inquisitive.  It made for some exciting nights.

I listened to a little bit of Brian Peskin segment last night. I wasn't really buying what he was selling but he sounded like a decent enough guy who really wanted to get his message out. sNoory was his usual uninterested self. He crossed over into asshole territory though trying to cut the guest off in order to get to those all important calls. He tried once but Peskin kept on point talking about the issues. Then George cut him off and actually said "Well anyways, East of the Rockies..." Blowing off what the guy was saying in a completely rude and unprofessional manner.

There was a point where the guest was trying to say something about how Fish Oil affected diabetics.  I was hoping to hear a little more about that, but of course George f'd that up, because he was paying no attention and was only concerned about getting a bunch of callers on.

Just listened to the Belzer interview.  Had to know if it was as rough as was described in this thread.  It was.

There is a lot of BS in this thread.  The personal shots about his appearance, etc. , that is juvenile.  All I care about is his ability to interview.  That is his job.  And in that area, he fails mightily.

I'd like to hear what this guy's "elite" friend has to say, but idiot Jorch sidetracked him just as he was about to list 10 things that people should know about the next four years. This guy gets the third degree and a debate and the "chevrons and chivalry" guy gets nothing?? What a moron.

Yes...damn his scripted questions.  The first time he actually has a real conversation with a guest, I'll probably fall out of my chair.
