As long as you realize that it's just a hose in my pocket even though I am happy to see you.
LOL!
Do thongs have pockets? :o

Sirius CSMs are usually the last people to know about any programming change on the platform.  (I refuse to refer to them as XM CSMs, as XM actually had decent customer service based in the US pre-merger.)  It's a well-known fact that if you threaten to cancel, they'll reduce the price or give you free months.  But asking them about programming is tantamount to discussing religion with your dog.

I discuss religion with the Dog.  But you're right, he doesn't much get it.

My border collie knows more than I do about Buddhism and the Papacy.

I wonder whether Evelyn has some program that automatically capitalizes the first letter of every word or does he do that herself. I actually think it's more annoying than Fort Rock's all caps shouting. Seems like a waste of time. She could make more predictions if she didn't spend so much time pressing Caps Lock on and off.

Well There Is The Shift Key.
But Yeah It Is Anoying As Hell To read, And Type This Way Indeed.

I see I've made the wall of fame at the top of the page. Not the way I wanted to make it but I will take it. Thank you MV. Without my quarterly hourly doses of bellgab I would not be able to get through the day.

Blame Jazmunda indeed.

Jaz, I have it on very high authority that Jesus will forgive you your transgressions if you send me some Australian licorice.

Well it's a good thing that I am a non-practicing atheist so I'll keep all the licorice to myself.

saucerlike

So Sirius is hacking credit cards now.  And Jonathan Reed really has an alien in his freezer.  That is just ridiculous, show me some proof please.

communist.

In fairness, a Communist would expect that licorice to be shared as a function of what each has vice needs.

and he'd only have the red variety.

Quick Karl

I still believe Dark Matter was a scam to take the heat off of Dave and make him look good...

Definitely not a communist. I love capitalistic society too much. Having said that I love red licorice.

I do believe in god but only for the bad things. Like I blamed god for taking Art Bell away from us. I never thanked a god for bringing him to us in the first place. Maybe that's my problem. Get me a priest and some holy water stat.

The RAAF officer who worked for me many years ago used to love a candy bar he had shipped over from Oz, have been trying to remember the name of it.  It was a chocolate and fudge bar with crispy rice.  That ring a bell Jaz?

Not really. Do you remember the color of the wrapper?

Haha, I love me some Jerky Boys. ;D

I again find myself agreeing with the fish. First you hate, then Art posts and everyone is his friend again. It"s only been a short time in the scheme of things. If Art chooses to go away it's his life. Shatner was right. Just be patient and wait for a reasonable amount of time. 3 days in and everyone was expecting miracles. What ever Art does I can live with it. Maybe one of the reasons I never bought a subscription.

Don't listen to the fairweather fans and the johnny-come-latelys. The vast majority here would love to hear you on air again, and appreciate that you and Paul keep us informed. Besides, if you didn't post, George would. Like two seconds after you leave, it would be "How are youuuu! Hey, I've got this show ..."

ourobouros2k2

My concern is that the longer he is off the air, the more permanent it may be. This return had everything going for it: rabid fanbase complete with own forum and a teasing campaign on artbell.com. A lot of fans, including myself to a degree, are still butthurt over his abandonment after our investement.

I just don't think that his "base" will rally around a new endeavor, especially if it means waiting another 2 years for NC expiration. If it is a free medium, I might tune in. If it requires even the slightest monetary investment, then I'm out.

I could be wrong, hell it has happened before. If he returns, I just don't think he will be able to sell a turnkey audience. He will have to be patient and build a new one, you know....like he didn't allow time for on SXM.

Each day I check this thread and the reality sets in more and more each time. DM is done, I really believe it. Too bad.

No, they didn't stay wrapped long.  The name was vaguely Hispanic sounding as I recall.  I do remember he used to confuse my secretary by calling it a lollie, which here is a lollipop not a chocolate bar.  She loved Vegamite, strangely enough.  This was during the "Men At Work" craze on MTV.
