If you look at SXMs sceduel Art falls off after Monday...he is Toast.....Now Im all anti Serius . He should sight them for broadcasting Dark Matter on shity software if he wants to have any chance of getting out of the no compete. We all know in reality most peoples stream worked just fine.

My theory is like this:

Art will stream tonight, regardless. We will all listen after live link is posted on Bellgab. Our IP addresses or whatever will be determined.  Sirius will cry breech of contract. We will hear from suits. Bellgab will implode like rats off a sinking portal and George will win. I don't want to say who's responsible but clearly MV and Gnoory and Ft. Rock should be the first to provide some answers.

And all of this magic stuff can be defeated by a proxy server, which is how us tasty Canadians watch US Netflix all the time.

I'll actually expand on this....

You might be able to steal Netflix with a proxy (for a limited time).

But with programs such as I wrote, you would not be able to sustain an attack for more than 2 minutes from any single location. Every type of attack (whether DOS, DDOS, dictionary etc) has an attack signature. Those are detected and blocked (no connection).

The downside of that is a large number of open TCP/IP connections (which need to be handled by upstream routers). The upside is that you are not getting enough data through to create a good rate of success in a hacking attempt.

Which is the point.

But with geolocation, you can have a good success rate (90%+) at blocking casual criminals from stealing content.

It's the advanced morons that use open proxies. They can alter their browser settings to hit a proxy- but that is the extent of their technical know how.

Yes... if you are stealing content. You're simply a criminal.

This has nothing to do with Sirius.. I'm willing to bet the softwork works well for most people. It DOES have its issues, but what you are saying is completely off base.

Don't you understand that they are a satellite company first? SiriusXM is not to blame here, they could have worked out their issues as Art continued to do the show but he went with the scorched earth tactic instead. /sigh
