George Noory is high fiving hookers with Tommy, and snorting lava hot pizza rolls.  He won.

George's hooker..

What I don't get, SciFi, is if Art really wanted to stick with Dark Matter, why didn't he work with them for awhile behind the scenes to resolve any issues?  Hell, he was only on the air for six weeks.  I can't imagine showing-up new to a job, no matter my prior rep, and making ultimatums to my new employer.  Unless I wanted to get fired.

I don't get it either, but the sense I'm getting is that they did try to solve it behind the scenes and didn't get enough of a response. I could be wrong. Care for some bacon flavored butter on Jorch's Richard C. Turkey Hoagie?

I just think that the benefit of the doubt should be given. At least for now.

No need to think of such a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Things always get better  :)

I so fucking love Casio.

I hope he gets another mention on GabCast. Heck, why don't they call him up and get all their questions answered.

Oh, wait he's crying now. Now I feel bad for him. Sounds like he's got a lot of snot too.

I agree that it's too early to jump to conclusions.

But I'm upset at the developments of tonight and have the worst possible opinion of what this may all mean.

He is the most amazing actor I have ever heard.    He must be walking the street too!  I love Casio on the street.

Well, like I mentioned before, he is a great comfort to the horrible problems I am going through now. I feel like I might have to deal with them with a raw sorrow again. At least I have the net to comfort me. ..

That's it... lets all send Art cute little selfies of sad Art Bell fans crying into our beers and new xm radios!!

C'mon people now,
Smile on your brother
Ev'rybody get together
Try and love one another right now

Remember that NIRVANA song guys?? heheh its a joke trying to lighten the mood here...

I'm not mad at Art I'm not mad a SiriusXM I'm actually really not mad.  Shit happens and there's no way we can really know what all is going on here behind the scenes.  All these angry posts and reflex "FUCK YOU's" are understandable but really?

Quit yer bitching and see what the fuck happens... don't smash your xm radios don't smash Art... go smash your wives or husbands or sheep or whatever it is that you FUCK... go and FUCK the frustration away... if you're lonely rub one out.  There's worse shit that can happen and I'll be damned if I'm gonna get all pissy and judgemental when all I KNOW is the external facts and statements from either side.

and another thing... GEORGE NOORY CONTINUES TO SUCK

I know it's stupid, but I don't know what else to do.

Well howdy folks. Been lurking as a nonmember for a great long time, and tonight....err yesterday, forced me into becoming a member. Been watching the thread all night, entertained. Been listening to Art since my grade school days, and was expecting him to pull this. Although, not at all this soon. I went "all in" with a radio and gear for the car, when I heard Art was coming back. I expected at least a year....geez, not 6 weeks. Gotta say I was looking forward to Art being back, was nice to have a stable thing in my life at night. Not so much for now I guess. Cheers!

So - what if they let Art stream from/thru his site for folks with an SXM account using their SXM login/pw?? Think that would satisfy both parties?

area51drone

Art is not going to put out a shit product, that's all there is too it.  He wants it to be perfect, and he felt it wasn't.   You guys are way way too hard on him.

Do you think he was that spooky matter caller who could never finish their story?

Well, there is a reason why he comforts me. I am going though a really rough and sad time right now and for some reason his shows hive me such a great sense of nostalgia of when I was 13, listening to his shows and feeling hope and wonder for the world. I've been abused and mistreated a lot since then and now I'm a little bit bitter. Arts shows takes me back.
Look, I'm 44 and can remember listening to Art back when I was 24 with my beloved, now deceased father. Plus, my 13 year old son who I can't get to do anything other than play Minecraft loved listening to GhosttoGhost every year, and many Art Bell shows with me. Losing Dark Matter is the equivalent of losing Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones times ten and all at once for me.  However, I refuse (to the best of my ability) to make my happiness contingent upon the actions of other people. Besides the other Coast to Coast does have some good shows especially when Knapp is hosting. Noory's show on the skinwalker's last week was almost captivating.

How long before you people say RENAME IT TO ARTBELLSUCKS.COM JEEZ!

I'm a bitter pissed off old man right now, Steelbot.

And I think this is how most of us must feel, particularly those who either PAID to listen to Sirius for DM or bought a radio for their car or home or paid for the service with whatever device they used to listen to Art.

Turning Bugs into a sucker

And I ain't feeling too kindly toward Art Bell right now.
Hell, I'm even pissed off at Taco Bell or anything named Bell except the Liberty Bell.
And with the exception of a stripper I knew a long time ago who became a friend named Busty Belle.

Good question.  I don't know.  He is the master of disguise, and extremely talented.  He's done work as a fighter pilot, pretended to be a dude in Japan.. he's even hung with Art himself.   He's simply amazing.

You look kinda young... have you heard ALL of his past shows from back in the day?  You know what I'm gonna do tonight? I'm gonna listen to Graham Hancock talk to Joe Rogan or maybe even Art back in the day.  His theories haven't really changed a whole lot though time so I'm going to get my show on tonight another way.

Worry not those pretty blue contact lensed eyes my dear... All is not LOST... there is ALWAYS HOPE

area51drone

Luna, you need a boyfriend apparently if this whole thing is bothering you that badly.   I think there are a few studs on here who would take you out.   (Myself not included, see my popping eye post on bellgab convention thread).    But you'll have to post a pic of you where you don't look like you're 3'2".

I'm 28. I've listened to him since I was 13. Of course I have not heard ALL of his shows, but I heard a lot of shows including some Dreamland episodes I find online as well as his Art of Talk, narrated by himself. It was great!

There is that old saying, "Gotta go away, so you can come back".

I agree with others who have said this should have been handled behind the scenes.
Art wants a wider audience with the free stream of the live show for a year.  Have to agree with him that that
would bring the shot of enthusiasm to Dark Matter that he wants.

There are many shows that are streamed for free.  I don't see what the big deal is.

area51drone

I bet you he tried to work it behind the scenes and they told him no, so he decided to go public with it.

I don't really need a boyfriend. I am a loner and happy to be one. I keep to myself. When I'm at work, I'm not required to socialize much. I'm good by myself. Yes, there are some times where it would be a credit to have a shoulder to cry on, but I am just too catty to be in a relationship. Having me as a girlfriend would be like having a finicky selfish pet cat who slinks in the shadows and sleeps all day (when I'm not at work)
