Bart,

If you could hook me up for some Eskimo Group Grope I might be down for that.

To be fair, I'd say you've gotten hold of a particularly startling example of the human race there, even for a Hip Wader.*

If I remember the sordid backstory correctly, G. Mize claimed to be co-designer of the Space Shuttle (or something), only for someone to blow the gaffe by rudely pointing out they'd seen him stocking shelves at the local Walmart and what did he have to say about that, hey?

I found that an impressive way to look foolish, even for a HW fan.

*Someone once suggested this term be used to describe HW fans.  I can't find fault with it, seeing as how a pair of hip boots would come in handy to help them cope with the ever-increasing (some would say Everest-sized and growing) mounds of manure generated by Heather in her quest to become America's top fifth-rate podcaster.

Reading gary's spelling i imagine he worked on that failed o-ring.
So am i to consider myself a rip in the hip waders or do i put them on when i enter heatherville?

The engineer on the EMI demos was an asshole, he was telling Pete Best how to drum for the recording (something that should never happen and the guy shrugged it off in an interview).  So, after playing the same song hundreds of times a certain way, you're told to change it in a recording studio for the world to hear...  Pete Best had a much better excuse than a lot of us marginalized musicians could ever have... Other since well-established musicians liked Pete's drumming with the band...  Oh, and Cass Elliot died of a heart attack, not choking on a ham sandwich.

This song is based off a true incident:

This song is based on Pete Best's reaction to the above song:

This song was written and produced by two members of Pete Best's post-Beatle.band, the Pete Best Four:

No hablo porn.  I admit to being a bit of a luddite when it comes to tech. My efforts on this forum demonstrate that.
None here either (everything would be cubicle safe) About 100 space and UFO documentaries. Luddite Space Nerd Haven.

It's hard to figure.  The Beatles didn't seem to be anything special except for being special.

Technically they were very good musicians, which put them ahead of the 95% like them who didn't work as hard on their craft.  But that still left them w lots of company who were as good but didn't get so freakishly elevated.

True.  A lot of wannabe musicians pick drums thinking they're "easy."

They made it big because teenage girls thought they were cute and liked their accents.  Other than that, they were just another Boy Band.

Ringo wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles.

I always thought a good drummer could make a mediocre band sound good, but a good band cant help a weak drummer.

Paul McCartney had no talent and neither did Ringo they all sucked but Harrison was best beatle out of the shitty bunch.

Hi Sean92008, Brig, Chefist.
Don't know if anyone is familiar with Downdetector.com. I use it periodically to find out if it's them or me. You can check most tech, phone, cable, etc sites with this application for mobile and PC's,  Apple or Android.
It comes in handy for us especially since we're in a rural area. Here is the live outage map for TuneIn as we speak.
You can select your favorites and have them prioritized at the top of the list on the free app which is what I use.  Hope this might help to see if there's issues.

Thanks Betty  :)

Thank you, Bell. One example of my ineptitude is I don't know how to insert an earlier post as a quote in my post. Any help on this would be gratefully appreciated. (told you I was a luddite).

Any band with a poor drummer is doomed until such drummer is replaced. There are many examples of bands that get signed and the first one out the door is the crappy drummer.

I haven't seen that one before.  Thanks.

I will usually refer to Google because one of the checking sites is there. Thing is, I have a router made by one of the manufacturers directly hacked by that Russian group.  In fact, I did my reset today just to see if things would improve.

So you aren't eagerly awaiting unboxing shows done in Art Bell cadence and vocal fry?

Let's just say I find it an easy combination to resist.

Years ago, when I was working in a recording studio we were actually getting some major label acts coming through the door. One particularly young band who had some limited success with a couple singles came in to do a whole album with us. You wouldn't believe how often session players were brought in to record over what they did. The producer was a straight up asshole and he should've just let them sink or swim on their own terms but it was his own career that he was primarily thinking about. The album went nowhere. The music "industry." ::)

Naw, just a street musician without a legacy. LOL.  Let me write a book, put my ufo sighting in it, along with my youthful memories of being 'tested',  combined with an active dream world and i'm good to go on the lecture circuit.  I will remember y'all at bellgab!

There was an era when the band members were not expected to even play a note on the record... Those were great records for the most part. 😀

The Bellgab paradox:  passionate, engaged, yet somehow reticent.

A shame about that last bit; I'd really no idea.  I understand prunes are helpful when coping with reticence.

Sounds like an unstable dude with a gun making a threat. He can only use it as a last resort and to protect his life or others. Besides he is a tuff guy talking shit to who, one of our UK members. Whst a dick to be saying shit like that in todays climate. Not only saying it but WRITING IT! Oh yeah but he got hacked again.

What did I miss here?

Hi Jocko, The guy is unstable as hell. I've gathered you have some law enforcement background so I would like your opinion on this website that had a batch of background on m vara's harassment practices.

If you have the time would you skim over it and does it look credible? I've waivered about it.
Anyone else on the forum, if you have an opinion about this ipredator, please free to chime in.  Maybe I'm getting too involved, but vara has gotten under my skin since the blowup with Art and MV rants.

Secondly, prior to this fine statement This should be the image of the "I've got a gun statement, but for some reason I can't post it. Sorry. he had to bring on the stability issue again.
If that POS EVER called my home, family or anyone I got wind of and harassed like this bitch did well let's just say *@$*+!    :-X

And finally, here's what Heater and the loving, empathetic followers of heater did to protect one of their own that posed a question they weren't happy with.  For them to go after someone's parents or family over a freaking podcast question or whatever the case may be is beyond the scope of reality.
I know it's probably more than you might want to read, but how far do you think this putz  :o might go?

I sure wish Keith would shut this crap down fully w/ the cease and desist, instead of allowing this to continue
Heaters still using the MITD logo. If it was just her maybe he'd let a bit slide. But with vara in the midst this is a no winner.  No matter what she won't make it on his failing network, especially with his personality and insanity. He asking for bitcoin donations and begging to stay afloat. He in so many words threatens Keith too.
I remember the rage in him when he left DMDN.  That was NOT an argument between friends as he puts it.

All of this about a tenth rate podcast featuring a nothing radio "personality"?? It's time, I think, for the asteroid to hit and let our successor species take over and perhaps do a better job than humans.
