Loved the commercial for Hoagie. Almost made him sound rational and sane.

Despite whatever, and I was also suspect, RCH is a GREAT radio host. His show is the most surprising thing I've heard. I knew Art was great but RCH surprised me. He is also very good, especially when on various topics and "tones down" the 19.5 for a bit. But a good host, has knowledge of other stuff, and asks good questions. iHate lost when they kicked him out on a "bet." And he has a positive attitude towards stuffs, which is nice change.

Are you in the movie industry? I've spoken to people who work for fairly large production companies and that is what they've told me. And I've seen it myself. And I know which prodcos take submissions, and it's hardly any nowadays. Even less than a few years ago. And you're wrong about the big ones not taking them at all. Once in a while they do. I've had scripts read by prodcos who work with Sony, and I don't have any kind of "in".

You gotta know somebody nowadays, possibly extreme indies may but I don't know them.

I had been referred to an agent last year and, because my stories we too "identifiable," I was told it would be too hard to hide identifiable characters and, though he liked them, he wouldn't be able to sell them.  It was my personal experiences someone concentrated but very close to the truth as it happened.  Think semi-serialized streaming series a la Californication but not the over-the-top sex.

He does a much better job than I thought he would, I will give you that. "Great"? Your outta your mind. Two reasons. One: He doesn't know how to hold a conversation with a guest because all he does is cut them off, especially if he doesn't agree with them and that's not how you argue. Just listen to how embarrassing he was with Tim Russ... barely let the guy talk and all he could keep going on about was how he knew so and so... I don't care who you know Hoagie. Second: He's insane. Totally.  (but that's one of the reasons I like listening to him. He's like reading the Enquirer on the potty... total shit... but enjoyable.).
