I'm a little over an hour into the Club 19.5 archive. Seems to be edited with the Art Bell references taken out except when Hoaxland talked about how Art asked him to follow him on DM. I didn't hear the thing about how Bellgab has all the archives either but maybe I missed it. Surprisingly, no "mega dildos" seem to remain in the official archive--I thought perhaps they might stay in since Dick thanked the caller for them. For a man so interested in "full disclosure" it seems the rules are different when it comes to his show.

Here's one that gets me every time he mentions it…

I love how everyone asks him if he's seen this or read this or heard this etc. nearly every time, his answer sound something like "I just don't have the time because the show is taking up all of my time etc. "

That answer always confounds me. How in the fuck can a two hour show about nothing most nights take up all of his waking hours? I guess there is certainly some preparation or behind the scenes planning going on but Jesus fucking Christ the show isn't produced well enough to  demand that kind of time  from someone.  I work in an extremely high stress environment. You'll just have to take my word for it but I'm used to juggling about 20 projects simultaneously as well as a family and I still have time to watch porn and post bullshit on this website . Richard claiming that he doesn't have any time for anything except for this lackluster podcast is an insult to people who work .

I agree the prank calls were pretty uninventive. If you're going to bother calling up Hoagie, do all of us a favor and make it a point to state your case.  Otherwise it just sounds like a bunch of teenagers.  I personally don't give enough of a fuck to call him up.

Those that tried got cut off quick. He even lied about his own book to cut someone off. The only one who didn't get cut off was the caller named Patricia at the end of the show.

If you couldn't have fun with last nights show you might not have a soul. Do people really always expect a 100% serious show from a guy who interviews Dumbledore cosplayers and thinks there is an ocean liner on Mars? Thinks that Star Wars is a true story? It's a show that airs at 3 AM for a lot of people.

This thread is a nonsensical farce. We have running jokes about Shay being a gimp, me being a Sith Lord (this one is obviously true though!), Trostol loving an awful song, Barfly's nakedness and hookers, LISA, Ace Frehley, Rick Steves, my Birthday, MMMM and so on. I mean Braaps was a thing as was  a telephone ringing at the start of the show!

So, honestly, people outside the group who come in to whine at us I just feel sorry for. Let your hair down and have fun for once in your life.

He should just do a prerecorded show and then stream it.  What kind of intelligent calls does he really think he will get in his time slot?

He's complained incessantly about having to be up so late. Those early shows he bitched about it almost every night. I remember at the time thinking "Gee Dick, sorry to bother you by listening to your show."  Of course last night when he had the super-fan on, he referred to himself as a night owl. He completely lacks any credibility or consistency day-to-day.

Maybe a scripted, rehearsed and professionally edited recorded show would be the best way out for everybody. I highly doubt Mr. RCH has the fortitude or skills required for a live show.

I highly doubt he can curb his bloviating but it might come across more of a "conversation" I can't count the times he's killed the "conversation" by going on and on. Then he has the hubris to remark " don't everybody talk at once" lol

Actually that's a pretty good idea.  He should just do a fucking podcast.  This live show is expensive & the results are usually underwhelming.

He complained that now he's having to pay $1000/mo for bandwidth, and that people who fall asleep leaving their devices connected are "useless eaters" stealing his bandwidth. Those of us in this forum with a little tech savvy doubt very much that the bandwidth is being metered that closely -- it's more likely a fixed fee, so his point is nonsense anyway.

He referred to bellgab as "the peanut gallery" and generally dissed us.
